Amazing dock with 5 display support
I am using this on a MacBook Pro and a Chromebook switching between as necessary. It has been working excellent to give me 5 extra external monitors. Flawlessly drives the displays, easy to setup and use. It even came with USBC to HDMI cables. It does get warm so I would suggest keeping it somewhere with good ventilation.

Great product so far. Will update if that changes.
Works well so far. Runs very hot!!! Hot enough to have me concerned. I am currently driving five 1080p @ 60Hz off of it, which made me happy. for some reason the HDMI displays didn't work until i first unplugged them. That was either a thunderbolt to HDMI or an HDMI to HDMI. The TB to display port worked as soon as I loaded the software/drivers. I'm running this on Windows 11 Pro.

Does the job with minor heating issue
Needed a docking station that was portable and this does the trick. No issues except it heats up but that's normal when small devices supply a lot of power. Maybe a cooling mechanism is needed for future improvements.

Dense piece of tech
Bought this for work, It works like it is supposed to as long as it doesn't over heat. I am disappointed that the only USB 3.0 options are inthe front of the device.

Works well but heats up like a hot plate
Works exactly as described. The only issue I have is the heat generated can cook an egg. It gets too hot to touch and I have to run a cooling fan on it when it is operating. I purchased a USB fan and plugged it into its USB powered port so it comes in automatically when I power on the doc.

Crap drivers, disconnects regularly, not ready for release
I have an M1 MAX MacBook Pro from 2021. I had high hopes for this dock, but unfortunately, a nice piece of hardware is let down by poor drivers and a clunky DisplayLink Manager application. Problems (on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1): - The dock disconnects about every 20 minutes or so, and my BenQ displays go black. This requires unplugging the dock and replugging one of my displays directly into my Mac (bypassing the dock) to get things working again. If you had a headless unit e.g., a Mac Mini with no screen attached, you'd have to reboot. - Even with the optional "login extension" installed, with FileVault enabled, you can't boot up and have the displays work. A warning appears on my screens telling me to install the DisplayLink software, which I have already installed. - You have to install a driver. OK fine. You have to install DisplayLink Manager and leave it running all the time. As I said above, it disconnects. Additionally, because of some hack that they are using to get this technology to work, you see a "Screen Sharing" icon in your dock and on your login screen that indicates your screen is being shared. This is how they got it to sort-of work. It's a poor design. I'm sticking with my more basic Sonnettech dock, which is truly plug-and-play and bulletproof, and sending this $300 piece of junk back. Releasing a premium device like this without properly testing the drivers and working out show-stopping bugs is unacceptable in 2025. How this won any awards is beyond me. But then, tech reporters are pretty dumb and biased nowadays.
