Alot easier to use than flying virtually on the phone. On think though is my phone is in a case and the holder is really for a phone without a case. Perhaps DJI could allow a bit more extion in the holder.

I bought my NEO2 recently in Thailand while on vacation. It can be controlled directly from your cellphone but as I found out it can easily lose connection leading to a panicking drone operator running around a beach like a lunatic waiting for it to return. On the cellphone it uses Bluetooth and has at best a 500m range. I bought the RC-N3 and was amazed at the difference. Controls are by two small joy sticks which are very responsive but what was most impressive was distance. With the RC N3 you can fly up to 350-400ft (30 stories) and it can be controlled for up to 10km. I have yet to gather up the nerve to go more than half a kilometre but will be taking my brave pills in the summer and testing g its full ability. A fantastic addition to an already great drone
