**Q: Does this Mandolin come with a hard case?**
A: It came with a soft bag. 
As a warning to you, I took it to a guitar shop to have it set up. According to them, it was in storage long enough that it will always be a half step higher or lower than it is sopposed to be. ( I cant rememer why, I think it had something to do with neck being slightly warped?). The guitar store said it perfectly fine for a beginner but probably not good for an experienced musician. We didn't return it because my husband is starting at day 1 and wouldn't notice the difference

**Q: does this come with a case**
A: No case comes with the mandolin.  It is shipped in a box, and while it is well-protected for shipping, does not include carrying case.

**Q: Is it installed with strap pegs?**
A: There is a knob at the base of the body. Need to tie off above the neck.

**Q: does it come set-up?**
A: The mandolin is ready to play out of the box (after tuning it several times). I'm sure there is more that a luthier could do to perfect it for performance quality, but the action is nice and the sound is great as it comes.
