Silent night to me has always been a very good brand however, I replaced my old silent night mattress with a new one that now has a separate topper mattress attached. Even though the new mattress is comfortable, the "studding" of this mattress is very uncomfortable and if only covered by a bed sheet it can hurt if you catch your heals or eldows on them...anyway... I found this topper to be very lightweight and puffy, my first thoughts were this is too thin, not going to be any good and bound to go flat and stay flat...I was totally wrong. First and foremost LADIES, this topper with the airflow most definitely helps with my "Personal Summer flushes🥵" are you thinking THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT!!! If you are you understand what I mean 😜 am I happy or what 🤸 This topper is lightweigh, comfortable in both the touch and feel on the body, snuggly but not smoothering, and definitely not hot but comfortably luke warm. I purchased the deep one just to make my original mattress a little more softer, I can nolonger feel the studs of the mattress yet the new topper is not thick, the airflow works, I roll back and fourth either side to cool off and find it does cool itself down and doesn't take that long to rejuvenate itself. It is not of a heavy sponge memory form, it is a light microfiber but with a sort of structure of its own so it bounces back and cools at the same time, very odd but beautifully and soft on the body. I AM WELL PLEASED and would buy again if I need too. There is a video in the reviews uploaded by an Emanuele, it shows the structure of this topper, this is exacty how it is.

After looking at several newspaper reviews and GHK I decided I didn't want to splash out on the highly recommended topper which is £100 dearer than this one. So I read as many reviews on this topper as I could find. I took note of some tips and advice hidden within those reviews and used them for my own benefit. I'm delighted with my topper and have listed a few observations below. Thank you to those reviewers who helped make my choice and apologies for pinching a few of their observations and mixing with my own. Firstly, this isn't like a duvet at all! It is thick and bulky. Second, it comes in a zipped bag and needs laying out so it can plump up. It won't inflate like a balloon tho. I left mine for 5 hours before putting it on the bed. I doubt I will ever manage to get it back in the bag. The info says 5cm depth but the gusset around the edge of the topper is not tort. It is squishy. If you want a solid firm "block" this isn't for you. Thirdly, the double size fits a double bed - just. It has sturdy straps to tuck it to the mattress corners and providing you tuck these over well the topper does not move. Fourth, It is not a substitute for a dodgy mattress. I have a sprung mattress with a foam top which I'm finding rather hard. The topper does not support my body but adds a touch of comfy softness to the mattress. All in all a great budget buy.

When I received this I thought, owe no the package seems small, it must be bad. After opening it up I laying it on the bed for the rest of the day, it started to raise and as I was in hospital over night, by the next day it was like you will see in the photos, which at the thickest point was 7cm. About four fingers high and when I slept on it, I could tell straight away, that it was going to be a good night. I bought a memory foam mattress, you see but I was finding it was getting very warm and sweaty. This seems to have done the trick and feels very nice. I even tried it in the foldout bed. It has a little over hang on it but it really helps. Anyway, I would recommend but think the price drops a point for me as I feel it is about twice as thick as the mattress cover I bought from the shops and returned but it's four times the price. That being said, this works a lot better.

I find this topper very comfortable and it has improved my sleep. I'm not waking up as much though the night (arthritic back and shoulders). It does not make you too hot at all. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a tempur mattress which is designed to keep you cool at night. However, it is very firm and with an injured shoulder, I was advised by my Sports Masseuse to purchase a mattress topper to ensure there was a bit of give. So, I did my research: I didn’t want a goose feather topper as you get poked by feathers coming out. I didn’t want a memory foam one as my bed is already v firm and I needed something to soften it. So settled for the Deep Air flow one as it advertised as being soft but cool. I chose deep because regular looked too thin. Frankly, I couldn’t see how the Airflow would keep you cool because it’s basically two duvets with a gap between the two, but once you lie on it, they’re pressed together so there’s no airflow! Hence why, if you are menopausal, this mattress topper doesn’t keep you cool, which is very disappointing, as it is really comfortable. I feel a bit conflicted now because I love the comfort but I still have not yet had a good night’s sleep since I put it on the bed last Sunday. I may update this in a few weeks once I have worked out how I really feel about it. I can say I like climbing into bed and snuggling down and falling asleep. After that the night becomes somewhat frustrating and I have to move around to find cooler patches in the bed! Also, I asked for it to be delivered in its own packaging to reduce waste. It arrived with the bag open. Luckily I was in and it wasn’t raining: the day before would have been a disaster!

I ordered the extra thick to go on my kids beds, hoping they'd improve their mattresses. Straight out of the bag they feel really soft, thick and luxurious. They fit the beds perfectly and both kids are over the moon with how soft and comfortable their beds are now. They can't feel a single spring through them...they're so comfortable that my 8 year-old has been in bed since she got home from school!! So glad I chose these ones
