Excellent
I’m not the best chess player but with this set you can choose your level and play online opponents of equal experience. I am a member of Chess.com and Lichess so can pick and choose as well as play the built in robot.

Premium quality, great for novices and those who want a challenge.
Bought for my 8 year old daughter as she loves chess apps. Board is really nice, lighting is excellent, lovely materials. Feels premium. Integration with the app is seamless and very intuitive. If I had a recommendation, it would be to have a feature where recommended moves are explained with reason for learning purposes. Perhaps this is a feature we have simply missed, but overall, functionality is excellent. Size is perfect.

Really good purchase for chess players of all levels
Very good AI board! You can have cheats for one person who is not such a good player against a good player and have an even competition. I really like that it lights up to whoever’s turn it is. It makes for a smoother game. My sons game has really improved!

Both beautiful and functional!
I couldn’t be happier! I’m 73 and I’ve always wanted to learn to play chess, but I was always too busy or thought it would be too difficult. So when I saw this GoChess Mini advertised, I couldn’t resist because the board’s built-in computer will take me from Lvl 1 to Lvl 32 estimated from ELO 400 to ELO 3,000! 😀 The product was beautifully packaged and extremely well made with each piece giving a pleasant, tactile sensation. 💜 I only touched it for the first time two days ago, but each time I play I increase the “AI Strength”. It’s not only informative, it’s fun as it gives me various movement options. 😀
