Firstly I have no strength and always struggle to remove the lid. Other than that this setting spray is excellent. I have dry skin and this gives my skin and makeup hydration and durability. The mister is a bit intense so you have to spray it from far away. It makes my makeup last all day and gives a naturally dewy finish.

Got this for my daughter (12 at time of review) as she had previously experimented with pump versions, this aerosol one she really loved! She really liked the coconut scent, saying it smells really nice. Quite strong initially but settles down. It produced a fine mist and does not leave your face feeling wet, but leaves a really nice dewy finish, which she loved. She says it is the best setting spray she has tried so far, if she could give it more than five stars she would! She would definitely recommend it

Been using this mist every morning – feels like a mini spa in a can! The aloe vera is lovely and calming, especially when I’ve overdone it with the retinol the night before. It sets makeup nicely without that weird tight-face feeling. Only gripe? The nozzle had a bit of a personality at first – sort of spritzed like a startled cat – but it settled down. All in all, cracking stuff for the price!

This is a review of 'Superfix Hydra Cool Prep + Fix Continuous Fixing Mist' from brand "Revolution". I have used similar products to this before, however in my past experience they have always been pump sprays - this is my first experience with one coming in aerosol form. I have to say, unfortunately that based on this experience it is likely to be my LAST time with an aerosol spray of this nature also. There are several things wrong with it in my opinion. Firstly the spray is very powerful and comes out at a high volume. This means I can only comfortably use it when holding it at arms length. I cannot use it close to my face. Secondly the spray is scented. I would rather it wasn't scented at all but perhaps I could tolerate a lighter scent...to me the scent is strong and I don't want a strong smelling product on my face. I don't want to hammer it completely, there are a couple of positives. Namely the fact that the formulation is good, clear and sets on the skin. It does do what it is supposed to, assuming you don't spray it too close to your face! Look, I don't particularly like this if you can't tell already! I'm glad to have had the opportunity to have tried it, if for no other reason that now I know for sure that I like my usual way of doing it much better than the new way offered by this aerosol. Three stars, and I gave serious thought to going with two, I'd call it 2.5 if I could but I can't.

This *Revolution, Superfix Hydra Cool Prep + Fix Continuous Fixing Mist* is a strange one to use. First pf all it is heavily scented. And it takes a while for that to dissipate. It sprays as a very fine mist which is controllable despite the size of the can (you get a huge amount!). It dries down very quickly leaving no stickiness but looks very dewy at the same time. My skin doesn't feel tight but I can tell something is on my skin. Like I said, it's strange. If you want a dewy look but don't want the greasiness then this is for you. For me, the jury is still out on this. I am hoping that long term this isn't too drying - the reason why this dries down so quickly I suspect it is down to the added alcohol denat.
