Submerge the pack in water without soap and then letting it hang dry, or hose it down at the car wash or your driveway and again letting it hang dry. Stay away from soap and fabric softeners. Do not machine wash your pack.

What are the main differences between the F1 Main Frame and The M1 Carrier Frame?

The Mainframe Pack has a meat shelf along with three horizontal compression straps whereas the Carrier Frame Pack does not have a meat shelf and it includes a utility panel.

If you carry lots of stuff, you might want to opt for the larger one. This size is good for keys, sunglasses, Chapstick, wallet, things like that. Much more stuff and you would need to upsize. As far as pistols go, my Hellcat pro fills it up pretty fast. Larger guns would need the bigger bag.
