Wilson Vesper
picked up the paddle last week…wow, what an experience. Does everything well…dinks, drives, slices and serves. Yes the face seems small, but no difference noted. It’s my favorite paddle.

Broke in 1st month
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Had it less than a month and something internally came loose, now there’s a giant dead spot and it sounds terrible when you strike the ball. Loved it until this happened, now I’m stuck because the return window is closed.

Not the biggest fan of this paddle. Feels very dull and terrible sweet spot.

Not worth the money.
This paddle has too small of a surface to be a real contender. And considering it has a small surface,it’s awfully heavy. Does have some power. Don’t waste your money.

Wilson has engineered a top tier paddle with the Vesper, Highly recommended.
I'm a 4.0 player, and play 5-6 times a week. I've tried almost every top paddle on the market. Selkirk (several), Gearbox (several), Joola (2), CRBN, etc etc. Before this Vesper model, Wilson paddles have been mid-tier paddles at best. It is obvious that Wilson has finally taken the sport of Pickleball seriously and devoted the resources to engineer a paddle that is worthy of the Wilson name. Drawing from their Tennis heritage, they have taken attributes from their tennis rackets and applied them to the Vesper. The result is a paddle that feels connected and incredibly fast in the hands. Balance is spot on, power is moderate and control is exceptional due to the feel. Zero vibration reaches my hand, making it a great paddle for those prone to tennis elbow. The grip is perfection as you'd expect from Wilson, and the open throat of the paddle gives ample room to load up a two handed backhand if that's your thing. The raw carbon face is grippy and provides ample spin, similar surface to my SLK Era Power. Its hard to put into words how or why this paddles feels right, it just does. Of the 5 paddles in my bag, this is the one I reach for daily. **Only con is that the raw carbon paddle faces are not consistent, and some are more grippy than others. I had one that was super smooth, sent it back for exchange, and the replacement was outstandingly grippy. Highly recommend this paddle.
