Samyang Ramen Korean Noodles, Variety Selection (삼양 라면) (Potato Ramen, 5 Pack), 4.23 Ounce

I made sure to make this “as is”. Nothing fancy, just the ramen, so that I could get an idea of what it tastes like by itself. Firstly, the broth is amazing. It was very delicious with a nice depth of flavor and wasn’t very spicy. There was a tiny hint of spice but not very much so I think this would be perfect for anyone who can’t really handle spice. Secondly, I really enjoyed the texture of the noodles, I’m very picky about noodles. They were soft and did not get soggy. I eat quite slowly so this is important. Honestly, I’d like to try these noodles with Buldak spices as I’m not the biggest fan of the Buldak noodles. My only complaint about the noodles I think would be that they didn’t really absorb the broth, so with each bite I tried to make sure I also slurped up a spoonful of broth. *After having more I found cooking them a little longer did help with absorbing the broth as well as them not getting too mushy or soggy but this is a personal preference* Thirdly, THESE ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE!! I tasted them dry, cause I like dry ramen, and realized they tasted similar to most dry ramen, so I looked at the pack and saw it contains wheat. So please do not get these thinking you can have them on a GF diet.

probably the best ramen i've ever had, especially when you add in extra bits. my grandmother bought me a package when i went into my freshman year of college and every now and then i buy some because its so good. flavoring is amazing, the dry bits aren't that good but sometimes you can add them to other dishes or throw them away. its good good. makes me wish i could eat ramen every day.

I'm not sure what I expected for a potato ramen to be, but it tastes like a normal similarly packaged instant ramen. It tastes decent enough and probably a bit healthier with less weird seasoning than shin.

I am in love with these!!! I have bought these a few times now and I am always satisfied. The noodles taste great and the slightly spicy soup is amazing!!! The soup is not too spice in my opinion but still has a bite to it.

This are some of my favorite instant noodles. The seasoning is perfectly seasoned, and the Korean style noodles are larger and have more of a chew to them than the cheap ramen I grew up with. I wish I could source these more locally, but I'm happy to order some when I really crave them.

3 Stars for the noodles - they are pretty good with a chewy texture. However the broth is fairly weak - the main flavor is sesame oil. Spice isnt very strong and there isnt much substance to the broth.

Usually regular ramen makes me feel really bad. This is a great alternative and tastes so good! I have put friend and family onto this and they love it as well. I usually like to cook my ramen with shrimp! I also add lemon and chili, this is the best lunch or dinner!

This one was excellent—I definitely recommend giving it a try. It’s not spicy btw.

The noodles are great. I have no complaints about them but the price point is too high for a package of five.

Literally my favourites! Always my go to when I'm feeling lazy to cook dinner. Love the chewy texture and the taste! Great value for money too. Super easy to prep!
