Folkmanis Finger Puppet Mini Tit/Mini Chickadee 2787, White, Black, Grey

I wasn’t expecting much from a little chickadee finger puppet, but this thing is a hit. It’s simple, cute, and somehow endlessly entertaining. The design is really charming, and it actually looks like a chickadee instead of a random blob with wings. It fits comfortably on both adult and kid fingers, which means I inevitably get pulled into puppet shows whether I planned to or not. My kid loves making it “fly” around and chirp at everything in the house, and I have to admit, it’s kind of fun to play along. The material feels soft but durable enough to handle a fair amount of enthusiastic use. It’s also small enough to toss in a bag, which makes it a great distraction for outings or waiting situations. Overall, it’s one of those small, inexpensive things that ends up getting way more use than expected. Cute, fun, and surprisingly effective at keeping kids entertained.

If you are struggling to pick between this Folkmanis chickadee and Wild Republic's Audubon chickadee as I was, here is my opinion. I ordered the Wild Republic's chickadee first. That was the one I originally wanted. It looked so great in the pictures on here. I got it, and the seams were very visible. It was 2-3x bigger than an actual chickadee. I wanted something more realistically sized. The Wild Republic chickadee does have sound, this chickadee does not. However, the sound wasn't the chickadee-dee-dee call. It was another call that they make. It still sounded nice, though. It was very loud. Too loud. I was afraid to even play it more than once, because I was afraid it would have hurt my cat's ears. I ended up returning that chickadee. This Folkmanis chickadee is very realistically sized. It is very soft. Amazing quality, you can hardly see the seams. Plus, it has legs and feet! The Wild Republic chickadee did not have legs or feet. The color is very realistic to that of a real chickadee. I wish I had just gotten this one first. For around the same price, this chickadee clearly outdoes the other. I think this one is even a little less (by a few cents)? Anyways, if you want a more realistic, better quality chickadee, this is the one to get. If you are really wanting one with sound, get the Wild Republic one. I did see one review on the sound going out around the year-year and a half mark. Maybe you could find a little voice box to put in this Folkmanis chickadee if you really wanted, idk. Kids also might like the Wild Republic one as it is a little bigger and may be easier for them to hold. TL;DR: This chickadee is more realistic than the Wild Republic chickadee. 🐦‍⬛🕊️❤️

I adore birds! It is so cute and looks so real. I love it. Well made. It is a keeper!

Soft, plush, comfortable, and slightly larger than a real chickadee. It is realistically designed with a slight plumpness than only makes it more endearing.
