Earth Friendly Products Ecos 2x Liquid Laundry Detergent, Free & Clear, 100 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

We order this detergent regularly now.. gets the job done without any strong smells or harsh irritants. Both my dog and I have super sensitive skin (allergic to harsh irritants mostly, like SLS and Bleach) and we gave up ALL Free and Clear a couple years ago after I found this. No more skin rashes ...needless to say we love it! oh and also - I left packaging feedback already.. but just a note - be sure that when it arrives that you have received the two bottles in a cardboard box that keeps them upright and that the bottles are tightly taped shut/on. If they are not, open with caution and especially not on anything that a spill would harm. I have never had an issue with any order of this set until today.. The 2 bottles arrived loosely in a clear plastic bag placed inside a cardboard box that was larger than needed ...WITH NO TAPE to keep their caps sealed. The box wasn't snug enough to keep them upright, so one was discovered laying on it's side when I opened the top...along with half a bottle of detergent oozing out of it and everywhere within the plastic bag due to a partially unscrewed lid. =( Not cool. I paid for the content, not the plastic bottle. Will update my review later and let you know if my next order of it is any less messy.

It’s hard to find a detergent that is not full of harmful chemicals, especially for infants and babies cloths. This brand has been great, cleans just as well as tide and gain, but without all of the chemicals and strong scents.

This is my favorite laundry soap. It rinses clean in hard water without leaving a film and softens clothes. But I would not buy it again from this seller (Earth Friendly Products) because both times I ordered from them, in December 2021 and July 2023, the soap leaked all over the box. It was packed in a box inside of a box and the caps were not secured. If you buy directly from ECOS, you can only get the 50 oz bottles in free and clear, but they are packaged correctly. ECOS tapes the caps on and ships them in upright in a box instead of on their side.

Fragrance free and your clothes look very clean after washing. Never have had a skin irritant with Ecos. Will keep on purchasing the laundry detergent.

For those with skin ailments like eczema or (like me) contact dermatitis, weaning off products with "fragrance" or "parfum" is critical, and in the laundry detergent space, it's Seventh Generation Free & Clear or this terrifically efficacious Ecos product. So why Ecos? Because within the Amazon ecosystem, this 2-pack gets us to $0.12/load, while Seventh Generation sits at $0.20/load (a 40% difference). Both remind us that scent has zero to do with cleanliness. Like Seventh Generation, Ecos uses plant-derived surfactants to lift dirt without stripping fabric of color or integrity. And I'm now free of rashes and breakouts. For those with sensitive skin, eliminating fragrances and additives from personal care products may well fix what ails you. I was concerned with some of the negative things I'd heard about Dreft. So, I came to Amazon and did some research to find a recommended laundry detergent that had no fragrance and was safe for babies. "Ecos Free & Clear" is what I wound up buying, and I have been very happy with it. My son is three months old and we have only used this detergent for all of his clothes and blankets. It gets them clean and does not irritate his sensitive skin (which the detergent his grandmother uses does, so I know his skin would be reacting if the Ecos wasn't as gentle as it advertises to be.) I am very happy with this product and will continue using it for his laundry. Also, a little goes a long way, a bottle lasted us two and a half months!

Great eco friendly detergent option. Great for allergies and easy on clothes

Received the 2 bottles of laundry detergent today and the lids were both luse and leaking out. Lost some of the liquid detergent from both containers. I don’t want to have to deal with sending them back. Wish I could count on ordering again but that won’t be the case. There were other items in the box that had the soap on it even though they were in plastic.
