This cream actually works on different skin issues on my dogs. I have used it many times and have always been pleased with the results.

For dogs w/ severe skin issues please read: I purchased this stuff and am not being paid to comment. THAT is how sold I am on this. I hv a 5 yr old blue doberman with the mutation that causes alopecia (or so i thought). Since the age of 2.5 he began to lose the fur on his flanks and by age 3.5 he was bald with a few longer hairs here and there all over his neck back flanks chest and it started moving up his neck. Saw vets who only wanted to gv him steroids and meds. Tried melatonin. Tried premium raw foods. Had his bloodwork done—all normal. Nothing helped. His skin was covered in little pustules and open wounds constantly since he had no fur to protect it and he was plagued w yeasty skin issues. Tried other anti yeast regimens—nope. On a whim I gave this a shot after reading it helped people with dogs that had black skin disease—pretty similar to his issues. It is a pain in the butt to treat a dog with severe hair loss because the stuff makes him sticky and you need to treat them for awhile but it appears to be working. After 4 weeks of treatment you can see in the photos he now has TINY velvety fur poking thru all over his body. That has never happened before so Im highly encouraged to continue to see if he grows his fur back. How did I do it? Im starting week 5 and hv only used 1 bottle of the lotion and 1/2 jar of the cream. Just bought more of both. For first two weeks I did twice daily full body treatments with this cream (smeared it all over him)—yucky—and put a tshirt on him full time. Smells like rosemary and tea tree oil. Alot better smelling than his corn chip smelling yeasty skin. Third week i started w a morning application of the Dermagic Cell Restorative Cream (lil in hands then patted it in lightly but thoroughly all over) and evenings I use this Dermagic lotion. Im continuing this protocol till I see his fur growth progress. Then I will switch to just once daily Cell Rest. Lotion that Im using in the mornings now. Super excited. He is more comfortable, his pustules are way less severe—not nearly as many—w/no open sores. He isn't constantly itching also. Plus instead of wasting money on vet treatments that don’t work, this is waaaay cheaper overall AND it appears to be working. If your dog has severe skin issues, don’t bother trying this if you aren’t willing to do daily treatments for awhile. Not sure how well it would work if you don't stick to it until fur is regrown. It seems to be working tho and I’d rather use this on him than subject him to costly treatments and meds that dont work. Will try to update as his fur growth progresses.

Excellent cream, very emollient & effective & soothing, as part of the treatment needed. My dog still needs apoquel medication too. But together the treatment is working.
