Rain Bird 32SA/4PKS Gear Drive Rotor, Full Circle, 19-32 Feet, 4-Pack

Love these and so reliable and easy to adjust. I’ve had the extended tripod type sprinklers for years and each year had to replace the sprinkler parts on top a couple times each year. I finally got smart and mounted one of the Rain Bird sprinkler heads on top of my old tripod stand. I hid the tripod with the Rain Bird sprinkler heads on top in my bushes and now it’s like I have an underground sprinkler system. I already had the timer and hoses so just put them all together and I’m done. I have in my front, side, and back yard running at different times every other day and now I’m bored with no issues to fix at all. Thank you Rain Bird but why didn’t you think of this and advertise it?

Rain Bird Pop-up Sprinklers are first choice sprinklers for the job. There are many pop-up sprinkler heads on the market, but based on years of experience, I choose Rainbird consistently for its quality and value. This model replaces existing "misters" that spray water in the air with small droplets before it hits the ground. The Rainbird provides heavier droplets which hit the ground and provide water where it should be. Installation is simple if there are uderground pipes already in place with the right fittings; just swap the old with the new. Adjustments can be made with with a small screwdriver, though I recommend Rainbird's special tool for this, it saves time. You can find it on Amazon. The head is adjustable from 0-360 degrees, with a spray distance of 4". There are more expensive sprinklers out there, but in my professional experience we have had the most dependable success with these. I'm not affiliated with Rainbird, but as a landscaping company and many years of trial and error with irrigation parts these are the best for residential lawns.

excellent heads - only minor gripe is they complicate unnecessarily adjusting the flow and the radius (though its not rocket science) to figure out all adjustment. The flow is controlled by screwing with a thin narrow screw driver (or the tool if you must waste the 5 bucks its really not needed) c;lossest to nozzle/water flow (yes check your blue nozzle plastic cone is in there!) clockwise reduces stream distance while counterclockwise increases stream -warning for novices like me- IF YOU LOOSEN THE SCEEW TOO MUCH THAT IS ALSO THE WAY TO REMOVE NOZZLE AND MY WATER PRESSURE SENT IT FLYING FAR ENOUGH THAT I DDI NOT NOTICE IF FLEW OUT and thought d was broken-but a straight shot of water like hose vs. spraying flow should be obvious to folks paying more attention than me! FWIW-my quick view of how these work (you need a thin skew driver or the Rain Bird screwdriver tool) but its nothing more than smaller skew driver with flat head.. - the right side slot (visible and right and below nozzle adjustment screw) I use mainly to pull up the pop up heads (and you can check the rotation levels if you desire that way. Since they comee programmed to do 180 degree watering you really need not mess with adjustments unless you need to go above 1`80 or below with the lowest skew driver access port on bottom opposite the nozzle side where clockwise increases your areas above 180 degrees and counter lowers to as low as 60...while this is not truly part of review I wish someone would have posted this for me as it might have saved me a few annoyed 5-7pm digging parties -but then again they are labeled as "Pro/high end" so they probably do not want to make it so easy that any person can swap them like the bigger heads that make the tick tick ticking noise and encase the sprinkler head (used more in smaller yards).. If you feel braver after getting one basic replaced and working- You can get different nozzles to replace standard "30" size nozzle for Lower Angle (under tree canopies or on hilly areas) , or water saving nozzles for low pressure or other lower irrigation eeed areas (they are a $1. 79 and easy to change even for a e novice like myself).. I am replacing all my 15 year old Toros of similar type (they had a dirt filter but otherwise those seem superior). I have high pressure and stuck with 3/4 inches even though the 32SAs are about 4 bucks cheaper each- refitting the plastic lines with possible leaks to them plus the versatility of these heads seems superior to the 32SAs-welcoome correction from more pros here. Next challenge-my heads did needed replacement but root cause of head leaking in base zone after cutting to next zone was the valve gasket or tired solenoid not shutting it all way-not sure yet-- to next fun step- finding a Toro valve compatible with 1999 system-not likely hard but they do not make higher end irrigation very easy for novices - do go to any decent instructional sites on web including RainBird's own site- there is much more than comes with paper insert with these in your package-and these are not much more to buy at your local HD or Ls...FWIW...but still a couple bucks less each I think here in bundled form-might try the 5000 pro ones as they seem to be same line but a notch above--will see if available at decent price...

They are easy to install.

No missing parts, hose connections right size, not easy to use or adjust, smooth rotation, versatility is great for big spaces, no leaks.

Great for my sprinkler systems

Used these to set up my above ground temporary overseeding sprinkler system on pulsating spikes with risers. Go watch the Ryan Knorr Lawncare video on YouTube if you want to figure out how I did it. I ran two of them in unison with the 1.0 flow rate nozzles to cover a larger backyard. The pressure was enough, but I’m sure my house is under-pressured for the job as it would have been nice to run 3 of them together. They aren’t the easiest to adjust, but I got it down after a couple of YouTube videos. Make sure you screw down the distance screw if replacing the nozzles. I forgot to and lost a couple of nozzles in the grass. Overall these seem super durable, were functional for how I used them, and sprayed efficiently for my setup. Would buy them again and loved that they easily fit into my already existing system. Rainbird is a great brand!

Good product, I bought these as additions to the kit that I have installed. Generally the same however these are not labelled up, they do not have the rubber protection in the top where you make the adjustments so potentially dirt could get in, don’t know what it would do if it did. There’s no ground spike with them that you get in the kits. Sort of feels a bit of a cheaper model than you get in the full kit.

Excelente opción a excelente precio!!!! Compramos el paquete para un patio de 26m2 y solo utilicé 3 piezas. Con esto logré el abanico perfecto para super regar todo el pasto y plantas que tengo. Si necesitas tener agua presurizada o bomba o no funcionaran correctamente. Igual tu regulas el chorrito de salida, tiene excelente alcance.
