Glacier Tek Cool Vest Personal Cooling, 59 Degrees for 2.5 hours 8 Cool Packs, Recharge in 30 Minutes

This cooling vest is really a life saver in this heat. It works to keep your core cool. It is a bit heavy but I'm a petite person and I can easily manage it. I like that it lasts a long time. I purchased an extra entire set of 8 cool packs to rotate. I like combining this product with others for the neck and head. Some comments mention that the material in the pockets prevent the cold from reaching your skin, but I think the packs directly against your skin (via a net material) would be too cold. I'm satisfied this product works as advertised.

I work outside as a gardener in Minneapolis parks. This really helped me survive the recent heat waves of summer 2026. I put one set of cooling packs in our mini fridge and swap them out at breaks. Keeps my core temp down so I sweat less and don't get heat stroke. I like that it is adjustable to any body. Absolutely recommend this for anyone working outside.

Cooling vest works very well! Used as a landscaper in 80-95 degree weather.. absolutely helped! Keep a separate cooler on the truck with ice and water to swap out packs. The hotter it is the better the vests feels. As the solid chunks become liquid you will feel the liquid bounce around which can be annoying. It says if there's any chunks left its keeping it 60 degrees but once it becomes liquid against your body it just absorbs all the heat and becomes hot. depending on your body heat and how hot it is outside the amount of time you'll get out of it will vary! The vest comes apart and is easily washed in a basin or container with some soap and water. I wouldn't recommend machine washing the vest. Only giving 4 stars because of the lack of customer support. Bought a 2nd vest for one of my workers but he declined to wear it so I tried to return an unopened/sealed vest and gel packs but after 2 emails I got no response from the company. No way to return it.

Does exactly what it says. Only reason I gave it a 3 is because one of my cooling packs leaked from 2 chambers so I had to dispose of that cooling pack.

I purchased a Glacier Tek Sport Vest because I've seen other golfers at my club wearing cool vests and was referred by one of them to this product. It is absolutely amazing - comfortable, snug fit (fully adjustable) and performs better than claimed. It moderates body core temperature without being too cold or too warm, and last for a complete round of golf. It is pretty warm now in Southern California and the reduced heat stress makes a big difference on how I feel when done (wish it lowered my score....). I've tried cooling towels are similar items that didn't do anything after 5 minutes of use, and I've seen some vests that cost two or three times as much from Europe that didn't perform as well, and just seemed kind of gimicky. This vest works! Is easy to recharge in cold water, lasts a long time and is very comfortable and not bulky. I would recommend this vest to anyone who works or plays in the heat of summer. It will keep you refreshed and cool, and able to make fun of your friends who don't own a cooling vest!

Too small for me. Soaking my shirt before going outside works better.

Thinking about buying this, DO IT. It’s welll made, easy to use, and immediately helps you stop over-heating. Perfect for hot days, working in the garage, motorcycle rides, or long walks. It makes hot weather truly tolerable. Worth the investment.

Although I haven't tested the limits it kept me cool in 100 deg. for 45 minutes. Glad I treated myself. Would like to see cooling closer to neck. I'll look for something like this for my dog.
