Master the art of drawing portraits with Erik Barrett! The face is the most expressive part of the human body, making it both the most crucial aspect of drawing people and the trickiest obstacle for any artist. Worry not, however, as this How to Draw Portrait will help you overcome such a challenge! Very cool!
Really great book for the artist in your life! Bought for our 7 year old. It is a little advanced for her but not so much she feels defeated or gets frustrated when learning from it. There are 7 chapters focusing on different face structures (ie: nose, mouth, hair, etc.). The beginning helps educate on supplies that is ideal for drawing and how to draw with the right amount of force. I canโt draw a stick person but the detailed steps in this book make me want to attempt drawing. Great gift!
