In this volume, Musashi’s journey deepens. It’s no longer just about brute strength or ego — we start seeing the psychological weight of his ambition. The fights aren’t just physical battles; they’re internal conflicts. There’s a powerful tension between pride, loneliness, discipline, and the pursuit of becoming “invincible.” What really stands out is the emotional intensity. Inoue’s ability to capture subtle facial expressions and silent moments is incredible. The pacing balances explosive action with quiet reflection, making the story feel mature and layered. These deluxe editions are truly something to behold, I love their design and the paper quality makes it a joy to read. They have also been extremely durable due to their rigid bindings. This is the best way to read this masterpiece.
