Wow super nice for the $ and a lot of features too.
I was not sure what to expect as I was coming from an older Hisense that was more expensive than this by a lot, but seems newer technology like mini-led in this, makes it better for much less. So even replacing an older higher end model worked out fine. I looked this up and most reviews claimed it was the best higher end "entry level" model and that is what it seems to be. Has some great features not found at this price point on other models and the picture looks great. My setup uses Dolby Vision and this worked right away. One thing to keep in mind when connecting devices is only 2 of the 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 144hz and all that, so make sure to use the right ones for the right devices or could miss out on some settings. The picture looks nice to me for a $500 TV, really nice especially if you go on YouTube and watch the 4k/8k HDR clips. The sound is also very nice "for a TV" so even if you always use a sound bar, you might be able to skip using it sometimes as the TV does sound OK with the little subwoofer on the back. FWIW yes the sound bar setup does sound better, just the TV is good enough you might not need it all the time. This is a FireTV TV so you need to connect to an Amazon account "if" you want to do some things or use the FireTV stuff. You CAN use it right out of the box not connected to internet and everything does work. I connected it to Amazon and its actually pretty snappy for a TV and works good enough. Its not like my other TV where everything takes 10-15 seconds to come up and things are so slow, this is very snappy actually usable unlike a lot of TV's.

Fantastic Fire TV Experience
don't know what it is. I am the only totally blind person living in my house. Yet I'm always the one wanting to buy new TV's! In this case, I wanted to buy it because it had better support for Dolby Atmos than our previous TV. I had a tax refund check coming, so I thought: Why not? First of all, the TV was delivered promptly. It was no problem mounting it, and the Fire TV ecosystem allowed for incredibly easy setup. I'm so glad I bought this TV! The built-in audio actually sounds decent, especially for TV speakers. But the real difference showed up when we connected the TV to our surround sound system. Holy Wow! Finally, true Atmos support! My wife and son really love the picture quality. Even though the resolution is the same as previous TV's we've owned, the brightness and contrast are far superior, and the motion is buttery smooth. Bottom line: We all love it for different reasons, and we are all happy to have upgraded from our previous television.

Looks great (assuming a setup without glare), even sounds OK.
Looks great, even sounds decent. Just caution about having lights or a window directly behind you, I need to get some curtains because even with blinds closed there is a bit of glare visible. I won't dock it a star for my poor setup though, the picture is fantastic at night. I was expecting to hate built in speakers, but honestly they're way better than I expected, I waited a while before spending on dedicated speakers. Obviously built in doesn't sound fantastic but you can enjoy movies on it. As with all TVs, you'll have to look up the best settings because I think I had to change some things to remove gross motion smoothing, and maybe something with the audio as well but I don't remember what.

Best Sound Of Any TV I've Ever Owned
I was moving up from a 55" to 65" and the specs and price were the deciding factors. This Hisense is replacing a year old Samsung and I can see no discernable visual difference when placed side by side. BUT the sound! This TV's speaker system, with its built-in subwoofer & equalizer, totally blows away the sound of both our tinny, thin sounding Samsungs and a Sony. No comparison. The TV will get hooked up to a Bose/Klipsch/Yamaha surround system so I won't be using the great sound Hisense has put in this TV. If you need a quality, feature filled TV with excellent built-in sound quality, and don't use a sound bar or sound system, this is the TV for you. Seriously, as a standalone, I can't get over how great it sounds. If picture quality, specs, and a great price are your focus, Hisense should be at the top of your list. UPDATE: I bought this TV expecting the headphone jack to function. It does NOT. Too much hassle to try and return a 65" TV so I will have to live without using headphones. Beware...

Lets make TVs just be TVs. My gaming device handles the multimedia
I love this TV because it's good at being a TV. The picture is great with no ghosting and works great with my PS5, the Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) is nice feature with the high refresh rate. The sound is pretty nice and clean with a surprising amount of bass. I don't bother with the internet functions, because I just use my PS5 if I want to watch movie or streaming apps. Bonus points for not being enshittified by allowing me to update my TV without locking me out, and forcing to me create an account and give payment info. That last one is a shot at RokuTV. Screw that company.

Might contain trash or bugs behind the screen
Edit: As of June 14, the tv now won't open any apps or even connect to the Internet. Fire tv seems to be the worst, make sure you buy the Google tv version. What a waste of time and money this has become. After fully resetting the TV, It now works properly again, keep in mind I only use this TV to play Xbox so seeing it lose all functionality like this is a real bummer. Going to give it 3 Stars just because of 1 issue so far. I just got the TV and am blown away by the quality of it but after 2 days in I noticed a black blob on the bottom, I thought it was dead pixels but it turned out to be just a bug or trash behind the screen, this kind of sucks because I can't get the piece to drop down and now it's just constantly on my screen. I took a chance on this brand and did quite a bit of research including reading about the bugs trapped behind the screen but everyone solved their issue with a suction cup it seems. The TV has amazing quality and overall I am very impressed by it but this first impression with the brand really did ruin it for me.

Buy it!!!
I had been looking at a new big screen for a while. I finally decided on this 75” U6 based on previous good experience with other cheaper Hisense TVs. We were ready to upgrade our living room TV to something bigger and better and this fit the bill. This is our first mini-led tv with local dimming and I’ll say yes! There is a difference. This tv has incredible brightness, super bold colors, and deep blacks. The Fire TV interface is very snappy. The display is super customizable to get it exactly how you want it. Games run super smooth and the built in speakers are not half bad! We don’t even use our sound bar anymore. The built in sub makes a difference. When there are so many options for TVs out there, it can get hard to pick. If you are leaving towards the U6, get it! We are very pleased with it. We’ve used it everyday for a couple months and have run into absolutely no problems!
