Fit well. Stereo upgrade long overdue.
Fit well enough that most people wouldn't know it wasn't factory, except the little bezel that goes the inside edge of the stereo. It wasalittle cheap feeling and delicate. No issues reusing old knobs. Any problems with the position of the knob stops being upside down have been fixed.

Great upgrade
if you were seeing this review right now about this item, I would highly recommend this to anyone doing a radio upgrade. I’ve done a few radio upgrades in my day and I would say this is one of the easiest ones. I’ve done this one from a scale to 1 to 10. I’ll give it about a 4 for difficulty, as long as you have the connection bits and bobs to connect to your original ones you should be all set 5 stars any day

Good enough, looks OEM-ish
Everything was as advertised, everything worked as expected. There is a small fitmit issue, as the dash kit doesn't sit flush with the dash entirely on the driver's side. Every clip is installed as it should be and I believe it to be an issue with the stock radio being bolted in with two 8mm bolts, and this kit omits those entirely. Won't blame the seller or the manufacturer too much, as this is a minor issue that I can deal with. Just be aware if you are going to care about it sitting absolutely flush. Very easy to install, once you know your way around the fit. The color is spot on and matched the dash perfectly. Would buy again.

Temp control knobs are not molded correctly
This is easy to install and fits really well, near perfect. My only issue is that where the temperature control knobs go there are little plastic stoppers to keep you from turning the jnob too far and they are upside down. Meaning the stoppers that should be on the bottom are on the top which prevents you from turning on the a/c or adjusting the temperature. I have to leave the knobs slightly pulled out so I can bypass the stoppers to even use my a/c. The last picture shows how far I can turn the knob for temp before the stopper is hit.

Expensive compared to other kinds of adapters
This is the ONLY adapter that will work for a first gen (2007) Honda Fit. Nobody else makes one. That's why they charge what they do, instead of the $14 kits for practically any other car. That being said, it worked well and I was able to install the radio with no issues on the adapter side. (It was my first time installing a car radio, so it took me about 8 hours to get it completely done between the googling and the running out for additional parts like bolts and cable adapters.) The color of the plastic isn't an exact match to the dash, but it's close enough that you really don't notice a difference. Important: THIS DOES NOT COME WITH THE CLIPS YOU NEED TO FIT IT BACK INTO THE DASH. You'll need to take the metal clips off the original radio frame and put them onto this new one. You won't need to worry about that one different flat clip on the lower right side, as the new frame doesn't have a place for it. But this adapter kit will not stay in place if you do not have the metal clips.

Results are great but not an easy install.
Results are good to install a Kenwood single bay into on an older Honda Fit. Installation is not easy but can be done if you have the right tools, read the instructions and maybe view some youtube videos. The kit seems expensive for just some plastic. It was about 1/3rd the cost of the radio.

Product fits and paint matches pretty good but not exact which was expected considering is not oem. Overall happy with the purchase.

All good except the final trim to close the hole didn't fit... the rounded corners of the trim are slightly different than the rounded corners of the stereo's faceplate. Not such a big deal, but quite disappointing since it can't be fixed and replacing it would mean taking everything apart.

I haven't installed the piece yet as I'm still waiting for my stereo, but I was reading some reviews saying the hole for the temperature control knobs had a stopper that was on the top instead of the bottom preventing the temperature controls from turning the right way, posted in 2020 I saw a couple, metra must have gotten the memo because mine was fixed, the stopper was on the bottom!! It still seems like low quality plastic but I'm not complaining for the price honestly, I just wanted bluetooth in my car for cheaper then getting it installed by a shop and this allows me to do that with some DIY work and just genuine tradesmanship. Anybody that is mechanically inclined can figure this out, most of the comments that were bad seemed like kids complaining that it wasnt spoon fed to them ready to go... yes sometimes you have to make stuff work yourself... that's all part of the adventure. Hope this helps and doesn't prevent you from getting this instead of the other one, there are some differences but I personally think the Metra is a little better overall if you want option of single din or double din/add a pocket for phone/wallet. If you just want a straight easy to install double din dash kit then yeah go with the other one but the metra is just fine for the average car guy/shitbox owner just trying to upgrade the stereo in the beater lol. Save the bit of money from the plastic and spend it on the stereo itself. Best of luck installing.

Harness works. I installed a double din deck. Only downfall I had was with the bezel installed the deck wouldn't open up to insert the CD. Had to remove the bezel to work but it just doesn't look as good.
