I no longer need melatonin to fall and stay asleep. My partner snores and likes to watch tv late and these ear plugs are a god send. All I can hear is my breathing. Combined with my eye mask, I am consistently able to sleep within 5 min of putting these bad boys on. As long as I twist them into place comfortably to fit within my ear, they usually don’t come off during my sleep.

Not noise cancelling which is what I was after. Description is deceptive. If you read description carefully it goes on to say only by up to 45dB. Foam earplugs I have used on many building sites cancel a lot more noise than these. Style with little substance. Pretty fiddly too. Especially trying to change the rubber buds. Avoid.

My honest review. I gave it 4 stars, becuase it took me two weeks to figure out how to make this little-magiggy work. These do irritate the ears eventually. You can hear your surroundings only if you don't insert the earplugs correctly. It takes a bit of time, but once inserted correctly, it works well, I would say 25 to 35 decibles. I sleep belly down, so these can be unconfortable to use at night. There are multi sizes for you to figure out which will work best for you. Be patient and "learn" to wear these earplugs.

I had given up hope of ever being able to sleep in the same room with my husband’s snoring. I tried everything (foam plugs and pliable gum plugs of every brand). Then I thought the noise canceling headphones I use when we fly work so maybe these things might work. They work like a charm!!!!!! I am thrilled and beyond pleased with my purchase. Thank you!

They work better than foam disposable ear plugs, however.... 1. The ear buds are so small that they are difficult to hold and manipulate during insertion. I fully expect that at some point, I'll drop one and lose it. 2. The case for the buds is only slightly more rigid than a a chewing gum wrapper, and the lid readily detaches during routine handling. If you use the microscopic carry loop, loss is virtually guaranteed. 3. Between the vague instructions and small, low resolution photos and sketches, you are on your own when it comes to figuring out how to insert these into your ears. It is not intuitive. 4. It appears that the seller of these buds has submitted 40 or so 5-star reviews, all expressing a near orgasmic delight with the product using an oddly similar tone and writing style. As a result, Amazon has restricted reviews to those with verified purchases. Addendum to Above - With time, I've grown more accustomed and less annoyed with the issues I discussed in the original review (above). To be fair, I need to give these plugs credit for being *very* effective - *much* better sound suppression than foam ear plugs. To achieve this level of attenuation, they need to be inserted correctly. Here's how you do it. (1) Pick up the disk with the rubber ear plug oriented at the bottom of the disk pointing towards your ear. (2) Insert the plug into your ear canal. 3. Rotate the disk such that the top of the disk rolls towards the back of the ear. (That would be CCW on the right ear and CW on the left (as viewed by someone looking at your ear from your left or right side). When the disk is properly positioned, the disk will become gently "locked in" by the cartilage features of your ear. Done properly, the disk and plug will reliably stay in your ear throughout the night.

They fit great and they are a decent enough quality however they are nowhere near as quiet as some of the other brands that are out there

Love them! These work really well. I bought three different ones to try and these are by far the best. The part that covers the ear canal is thicker than others but super light and effective. I am buying two more for my children. They are perfect for loud gym classes or concerts.

They work! My partner sleeps with the tv on and other earplugs I have tried only muffled the sound. I don't hear a thing when I wear them. They are reasonably comfortable to sleep in for a side sleeper. I have found they stay in place as well.
