I was sad to see that this pill crusher is unavailable. We have had this pill crusher since 2021 and it is now 2025 and it has been amazing. The only complaint I have is the little knob on the handle that you hold onto broke off, but I’m still able to turn it in order to crush the pills please bring this item back.

I didn't rate "Easy To Swallow" because I didn't buy this for crushing pills. I purchased it for spices and other things. I have found that this grinder is fantastic and will reduce things like sea salt or peppercorns to a fine powder. It is extremely easy to use and clean. The only minor drawback is that after grinding and before clearing make sure to turn the upper grinding assembly upside down and lightly tap it on a plate or cutting board to get the last of whatever you might be grinding out of the grinding mechanisim. I found its a small amount but it reduces the need to wash after each use. I usually disasemble after three or four uses to clean thourghly. I would feel very comfortable recommending this product.

I have severe Gastroparesis, and I’m unable to drink liquids or take medications without throwing them back up. As a result of this, I have to take my medications through my GJ feeding tube. This pill grinder is my second one, and so far I’m loving it. It is very easy to use, and I love the fact the handle folds up for easier storage. I also like how each section secures on with a twist, as with my past pill grinder I lost some medications when it knocked over and the lid on it (held on with just friction) came undone and my meds spilled out. One feature I like, is how the handle can be folded up under the screw on cap, so you don’t have to take the cap off all the way.As for that cap, though, that is where I have to take off one star. I’ve had it get tightened up against the handle, and I had to use some pliers to loosen it. This won’t happen, though, if you make sure the handle is in the right position on the shaft, and not get in a hurry. That, is what happened to me the few times it did occur.Overall, this is very easy to use, and I recommend it.

It’s truly amazing. The pills are ground up to a fine fine powder that I could never achieve in the little hand held plastic grinder I had before. Besides I can grind 13 pills all at once. For larger pills like multi vitamin you do have to break them into a couple of smaller pieces first but still. It’s so much easier and effective than anything I’ve owned before. A friend suggested I get a battery operated pill crusher but i like the fact that I don’t need batteries. This was cost effective and it works amazingly well.

I recently started jtube feedings and having to do all my medications through my tube requires us to crush the pills and then mix with water. This device does suck a great job at getting it to the super fine powder it needs to be before mixing with water because if the tube gets clogged i can't use it until a doctor fixes it so it's a big deal. The grinding handle moves smoothly do everything on my weaker days im able to use it, it might take me longer and I might have a few times I need to shake it a bit to move a big piece and keep going because I can't power through it on my sicker days but im still able to use it which is more than I can say for other grinders and crushers I've tried. The bottom part comes off with a half turn and doesn't need too much pressure (for those of you with hand pain and mobility issues I would rank this medium on a difficulty level) i especially like that it all jets collected into a clear container that is completely closed in so you can see it but don't have to worry about rising powder from the grinding. My only problem if had with it is the inside of the container has ridges so it's hard to pour the powder out of the bottom container so we just us it for creating our stury as well, add the water mix it up and draw it up from there for administeringAll together this is the best pill grinder I have ever used and I would highly recommend that for anyone using a feeding tube that the put meds through

My pup has to take several pills a day for various reasons and the "peanut butter trick" was wearing thin :)I checked with the vet to see which pills could be crushed & which ones couldn't and bought this grinder. The biggest pill I have to get into him is a little smaller than a dime. All of the others are much smaller. The grinder worked very well, grinding them into a fine powder. The only issue I've encountered was when a pill got a little wet, or the grinder wasn't completely dry, and the grinder got gummed up. I've seen some reviews saying the grinder cannot grind big pills, which I can understand. Although I can't find it now, I thought the directions said it was adjustable.

The media could not be loaded. Love it, makes caregiving life so much easier. It crushes so easy! What I don't like is that after having it for three days the shell became unattached and we constantly struggling with the canister.

After fiddling with a cheap pill crusher which eventually broke, I was looking for something more durable. well, I found it and love it.While I haven't used it for extremely large "horse pills" (as my mother would call them—thanks, mum), I have used it on fairly large pills and multiple pills and it works like a dream and require very little strength (if that's an issue for you). It grinds pills to a fine powder—better than what you'd get from an ordinary pill crusher.The only real negative is that it doesn't grind up the coating of some pills that well, and you have to empty out the part where you place the pills each time you use it to clear out the remains on the coating. This is barely an negative in my opinion.On the whole, I highly recommend this grinder.
