Works perfectly
First time having a hot tub (given to me) so I had no clue what I needed to care for it. The previous owner just said to throw chlorine in it every week, but I knew that couldn't be it. These straps helped me realize the ph and alkalinity were way too low. After using these straps I added alkaline increased and baking soda at different times then retested multiple times and found a perfect level for everything! Great price and work absolutely correctly!

Does the Job
Have been using these to test our spa for years. We trust them and that's why we keep buying them.

Bought 2 pack, got 1
Beware buying a 2 pack or more. I only got 1 pack. Great product but not great service to get.

PH and alkalinity was high but accurate
I thought the PH and alkalinity consistently too high. Ph read hot pink and alkalinity deep blue green no matter what. Used two rounds of spa down with no change. I dipped it in vinegar and it did register low, so it does change. Finally had to add six times the recommended amount of Spa down to get a good reading. My chemist brother was here and convinced me that the strips were OK and my water was just that alkaline. Noticed there were a lot of other reviews here who reinforced my belief that the strips were in error. But, at least in my case, the water is just that bad here in north Florida. I don't drink it. I wrote down how much I need so the next time I do a fill, I can start closer to what I will need to balance.

Happy Hot Tubs
The colors of the tester are a bit different than the old ones we used to use. At first it was hard to tell where on the chart my sample strip was reading at probably because I was so used to using the other brand. But now I'm used to it and I can easily get a reading. It cool that it does chlorine and bromine, although for me the chlorine is just extra one because I use bromine for my hot tub. What I do like about this one more than the other is that the cap pops open and there's a little hole through which you shake one out into your palm, instead of the other test trip bottle where you pop the whole thing open and you reach your finger inside to get one. This way there's less chance of a wet finger contaminating all the unused test strips. In the photos if you're wondering why my old bottle says chlorine it's because I used to use chlorine for my hot tub, but I switched to bromine quite a while ago. Hope my review is helpful to you!
