A: No you can not this comforter does not open

**Q: Is this suppose to fit like a bedspread & go to the floor as shown**
A: I thought it would fit as shown but it did not. I'm currently looking for one that will cover properly. That said it does do what it claims. Light weight and adjust to your temperature. But will not buy again. Want full coverage like pic.
