Actually, these are battery powered. 2 AA batteries, rechargeable recommended unless your household uses this kraft as fast as we do in ours. Disposable battery in this case, would be just fine.

Craft is the only American cheese slices that I like and that melts good.

I bought a different size. First make sure there is no recall. Amazon should have alerted you if there was one. If all good, yes you can freeze it. I would break it up into smaller packages.

Great Grilled Cheese or on Burgers!

These little cheese slices are the best for melting, and actually healthier than a lot of cheese slices. Keep on hand for a grilled cheese when you have nothing else for dinner, and cannot afford anything else. Use Dave’s killer bread, toasted, with a few of these slices, and yummy tummy! I think they would work in Mac and Cheese.
