When I first set this up I was a bit concerned because the ice tasted really plastic-y, even after running the cleaning cycle twice prior to using (as recommended). I ran it probably 4 more times and the taste was still bad, until I eventually used a disinfectant as well. This seems to have solved the problem, and now the ice comes out tasting like 'nothing', which is ideal. It was annoying that it took this much effort to be able to use it, but now it runs well and produces good ice. The machine is pretty loud and seems to be running constantly, but it does start pumping out ice just a few minutes after turning it on, which is really impressive. I like that it has a light inside that you can turn on or off, as it makes it look a lot nicer. The included scoop makes it easy to get ice out of, and it's the nice 'nugget' style that people seem to like. Putting it in drinks works but it seems to melt almost instantly, due to the size/composition. It does cool the drinks down, but don't expect to have ice in your glass forever, even inside of an insulated cup. I was also really impressed at the insulation of this. I left it unplugged overnight, and in the morning there was still ice in it, which really surprised me, especially given how easily this ice melts. Overall I'm happy with it now that I got it cleaned. I do wish it was easier to get up and running and that it was a bit quieter, but it's nice having unlimited ice like this rather than having to fill ice cube trays each time.

Ice maker worked great......UNTIL it stopped working 4 months in. We tried to get in touch with the manufacturer because this supposedly came with a warranty. NO response. Warranty not honored. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK. I see we are not the only ones who have had this stop working in only a few months.

Great product !! Had a little problem & they replaced the unit , no charge . I would recommend the product & the service

There is a taste to the ice. I’ve ran many cycles and tried vinegar and other cleaners and cannot get it to go away.

Good chewy ice. Makes it quickly. Holds enough ice for two large glasses. Doesn't take up the whole counter though it does need air space around it for cooling.

This product only lasted 5 months and then kicked the bucket!! The warranty is a scam. Don’t expect to get a response when you try to activate it.

Great so far

Purchased the ice maker in April. The machine stopped producing ice by the first week of December. I contacted the manufacturer and followed all the suggestions to try and get the machine working. In 2 different references, you are instructed to reset the machine, the machine does not have a reset.
