I’ve used several smart relays, but the SwitchBot 1PM stands out for its compact size and the accuracy of its power monitoring. It was small enough to fit into my existing wall box behind the toggle switch without a struggle. The Standout Features: Power Monitoring: The real-time data and historical charts in the app are fantastic. I’m using it to monitor my washing machine, and I’ve set an automation to notify me when the power draw drops—meaning the cycle is done! Safety First: It feels very well-built and includes overload protection, which gives me peace of mind for higher-draw appliances. Ecosystem Integration: As with most SwitchBot gear, it paired instantly. If you have the Hub 2, getting this into Apple Home via Matter is a game-changer. It has turned a "dumb" appliance into a fully automated part of my home. Highly recommended for anyone comfortable with a bit of wiring!

I bought these to enable some automation in our garden cabin. I wanted to be able to turn on an extractor fan if the humidity / temperature gets too high. We already have a Switchbot temp sensor and hub in there. So using the Switchbot app I created a little automation job to turn the fan on when it’s too hot, and off again when it’s cool. The relays are amazingly small and robust, about half the size of a matchbox, connected up in no time and worked flawlessly. I didn’t have an existing power switch to wire these behind, so have wired them direct to the fan which has worked really well. We also have one on the main ceiling light in there, so we can ask Alexa to turn it on/off, or turn off if we’re not in the room. Really impressed with the build quality and functionality of such a little device.

Good price and works well. The cover is a little flimsy and the terminals just about fit a very short section of 2.5mm cable. Matter qr code doesn’t work with HomeKit or home assistant at least straight out the box. You have to use it in the switch bot app and assume you can then get it into your preferred platform but yet to figure that out.

Very compact and great documentation, much easier to install and get it recognised than other similar brands I've experienced. In app experience was also far better than competing Matter relays. Has performed flawlessly and linked up with Apple Home and Alexa without an issue. Can't share a photo as is behind the light switch but have not had to take it out since installed almost 2 months ago. Great for those looking for a compact switch to control two lights with existing wall switches and wiring.

Great smart switches and work well with Home Assistant. They're a little over priced at ~£50 considering the other choices out there, I managed to get them for £39 for a 4 pack. I need another set so will wait until they're on offer again, hopefully that will be soon so I can stick with this brand.

Game changer these little units, got 4 different types now, just got one to start with had so many things I could do with it, so ordered more! got one running on a 12v battery, watering the plants while on holiday (purple one) for the price when on offer it's daft not to get one and experiment with it!

I got it to work however instructions and YouTube vids are poor They are a bit slow to respond to commands Love the small size and there unique functionality for old light switches

This nice little gadget is easy to install even for a not specifically trained tinkerers. You'll need a couple of suitable wires and wago connectors though. Check supplied video instructions, if you are not sure. It is likely to fit the space available behind your wall switch, but check before you start to avoid undoing it just to make more room to put it all back together.

I love using this product, It’s about half the cost of a Shelly 1pm which I would consider to be an equal product. I have actually had more issues with my Shelly devices over the long run than I have with any of my SwitchBot devices. With the price and reliability I’ll always pick this product.

These switches cost about half of the other brands and do the same job. they are easy to install and the app works well. they are a little larger than the other brand that I have but I try to replace the wall boxes with deeper boxes, when possible, anyway. I probably will use these for any other automation that I do. They work well with Smartthings and I have not had any to drop connection.

Je l'ai utilisé dans deux scénarios très différents : - pour pouvoir utiliser un interrupteur physique pour un plafonnier connecté qui doit rester alimenté même lorsqu'il est éteint. Un simple scénario du type lorsque le relais est allumé, allumer le plafonnier, lorsque le relais est éteint, éteindre le plafonnier. - pour pouvoir piloter un extracteur d'humidité soit par un interrupteur physique, soit par un capteur d'humidité, soit depuis mon application domotique, soit par la voix, à l'aide de mon assistant vocal "dis Siri". Dans les deux cas, l'intégration à l'application SwitchBot, et à l'application "Maison" ont été faciles.

Llevaba tiempo buscando una solución de relé inteligente que fuera compatible con Matter y finalmente la he encontrado con el SwitchBot Matter Interruptor de Relé 2PM. ¡Y estoy encantado! La instalación fue sorprendentemente sencilla. Las instrucciones son claras y, aunque requiere un poco de conocimiento eléctrico básico, no tuve ningún problema en conectarlo a mis luces existentes. El tamaño compacto del módulo también facilita su colocación dentro de las cajas de mecanismos. Lo que realmente destaca de este relé es su versatilidad. Tener dos canales independientes es una maravilla. Lo he configurado para controlar tanto la luz principal de mi salón como una lámpara de pie, todo desde la misma unidad. La capacidad de controlar ambos dispositivos por separado a través de la aplicación SwitchBot, Matter y mis asistentes de voz (Siri en mi caso) es increíblemente conveniente. La integración con Matter fue fluida. Una vez añadido a la aplicación SwitchBot, pude vincularlo fácilmente a mi Apple Home sin ningún problema. La respuesta es instantánea y la fiabilidad ha sido excelente hasta ahora. ¡Finalmente tengo un control unificado de mis dispositivos inteligentes! La aplicación SwitchBot añade una capa extra de funcionalidad. Permite programar horarios, crear escenas y personalizar el comportamiento de los relés. Si bien requiere una instalación cableada, los beneficios de tener control inteligente sobre tus luces y otros dispositivos hacen que valga la pena el esfuerzo. Pros: Excelente compatibilidad con Matter. Dos canales independientes para controlar múltiples dispositivos. Fácil integración con asistentes de voz (Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant).
