This product gets lots of bonus points for being adorably packaged. I also like that it comes with a refill. This would also make a nice gift for a friend who loves cutely packaged spf skincare. I thought the color would be more saturated, but it doesn’t really add color to my skin. It does add a nice sheen, there is definitely a luminous quality to it. My only complaint is that while the luminous quality is nice, it’s a bit hard to tell how much product I’ve applied to my skin. I like to go quite heavy on my SPF products, and it’s a bit challenging to get it on evenly for me, since I can’t tell how much I’ve applied by gauging things visually. I would love it if this came in more colors, with strong color saturation.

It is hard to get my 10 year old daughter to reapply her sunscreen. This super cute set encourages her to do so since she feels like she's putting on make up. It goes on well and is easy to use with the little compact it comes with. She has it in her backpack and I tell her to reapply at lunch and during her afterschool care. She's so much better using this than any sunblock stick I've given her.

The adorable packaging is what convinced me to try this, and I love how convenient it is to apply. However, I’m not really noticing any tone-perfecting effects—it feels just like a regular sunscreen. That said, it still does the job of sun protection, and the ease of application makes it a nice option to have on hand. It would've been a great value if I could notice more of the tone-perfecting effects.

XMiffy Dear Sun Tone Perfecting SPF Cushion Refill Set Review I am 73 and of course had never heard anything about this brand but I am always looking for a better sunscreen. Most sunscreens seem far too greasy for me to want to wear it on my face except for working outside in my flowers then I don’t mind if it is greasy. Probably ten years ago I went to mineral sunscreens and they are a lot less greasy but there is that whiteish cast they can leave so I am always seeking out the next new product. I don’t know if this product is even new but I don’t think I am their target customer which is probably teen thru young adult. There were not any reviews when I ordered this. Here is what I found. This is such a cute package even at my age I can appreciate a fun design and this is that and more because it is also very functional. The compact has a mirror and a “cushion” which is the sunscreen. This package contains one compact filled with a supply of powdered sunscreen and there is a second compact refill that is sealed airtight in a foil lined bag. So you get two cushions. When looking at the sunscreen it has a pink cast. I am very fair and this color does look fine on my face. You apply this sunscreen like you do a compact foundation. It feels so light on my face. I still have nice facial skin that hasn’t wrinkled badly and I am surprised that I like this product that appears to be for a much younger age group. The one problem I have in wearing this is not knowing exactly how much to apply to get the SPF 50. Do I get that with just a once over or do I need to add another layer and if I do multiple layers I don’t like how I look as much as doing the once over that had a more translucent appearance. If I had a daughter or granddaughter in their teens I think this would be a fun and helpful gift for them. I don’t know how long a “cushion” will last me and that will be the determining factor in how expensive I think this sunscreen is since we do get two sets. But it is a very unique and cute compact with mirror and I do like it even at my age.

This SPF cushion set came giftable and well-packed. I hoped it would be a toned sunscreen, but that was not the case. It only provided a bit of shimmering, which was fine by me. The unfortunate thing was that it made my skin look more oily than dewy. To make matters worse, it irritated my skin (combination and sensitive) and caused small, itchy breakouts. After testing it side by side with my other SPF 50 sunscreen, I found that this cushion does work as a sunblock but not as effectively. Multiple layers of application may work better, but then it may also make the skin look too oily and cakey. In summary, even though this cushion is listed SPF 50, it is more of an addition to other sunscreen and not a replacement. Also, it may cause skin irritation if your skin is sensitive like mine. That said, the current price tag of $40 seems way overpriced for the quality and function.

This is the CUTEST sunscreen. Easy to apply and compact enough to take with you. It doesn't have much color. Just enough to give your skin a little boost. When I'm in a rush this is an easy way to give yourself a glow and look more put together without having to do a whole makeup routine. I like that it's in compact form which makes it easy to reapply throughout the day. It also comes with a refill. Which makes the price worth.

Super cute compact and good quality SPF that makes it easy to reapply your sunscreen when you're out and about. I love the Miffy collab and the powder/cushion format! This set comes with a refill which is awesome. The only reservation i have is that it's hard to tell how much i need to apply to get good coverage -- whereas regular sunscreen you can feel/see to determine coverage. I have pale skin and haven't noticed a significant whitecast, but i think it might show up on darker skin.
