Bell'O Computer Desk with Keyboard Tray, Espresso/Black

I love this desk so much I invested in 2 of them. One for me and the other one is for my kids. I needed an extra desk since I'm now working from home and no other desk quite measured up to this one. I love the sliding glass underneath for the keyboard and mouse. I love the large workspace it gives you. It's very sturdy, is all glass and has a great look as well. Not hard to assemble. It took my husband 20-30 mins to put it together. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it once you see the finish product.

After starting a major remodeling project in my home I decided that the hutch-style wood computer desk looked dated and needed replacing. I was looking for something with a glass top and stylish clean lines for a light and breezy look in the master bedroom. This looked like the perfect size, not too big and not too small, just the perfect size. The unusually high reviews for it sealed the deal for me so I ordered it. When it arrived two days later I found it to be packaged in an extremely well insulated and sealed box. I was immediately impressed by the high quality finish of the powder-coat metal parts. The glass parts were top quality tempered and tinted glass with smooth curved corners. I was happy to find that the tinting was not a smoke colored tint or a dark black, but instead just the right amount of tint to give a professional appearance. This design, fabrication, and packaging of this desk were well thought-out and executed, and the instructions were easy to follow. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together. Now, it has exceeded my expectations and looks absolutely awesome in my bedroom. Love it!

This desk was purchased for our home office, and we couldn't be happier. The product is very high quality, all of the components are solid. The desktop is very spacious-our 20" monitor looks tiny on it, so those looking at dual monitors will appreciate the room. The keyboard tray also frees up the upper part of the desk for paper work and other items. The tray also has a good amount of resistance-the keyboard won't slide in and out when you don't want it. PROS -Superb quality -Very good looking-much better than your typical wire frame desks -Easy to assemble -Drawer has just enough give-so it isn't sliding while you're typing -Lots of desktop room CONS -Not really much of a con-but you need a mouse pad for some devices because of the glass. BOTTOM LINE -A spacious, good looking, high quality desk well worth the cost.

It looks great, the glass doesn't scratch easily while dragging multiple things across it's surface. The keyboard drawer glides smoothly. The desk holds my 24" iMac and Klipsch speakers nicely with plenty of desk space to spare. Assembly wasn't terrible, took me roughly 30-40 mins by myself. I agree with the other review about the styrofoam though, it got eeeeverywhere. I have a friend that bought a knockoff looking version of this desk and it's a piece of junk. He bought his the same time I bought this one and I only paid $30 more than he did and his is already broken.

This computer desk is beautifully constructed with attention to fine detail - like how well bolt holes are threaded and matched - and the fine finish on all metal parts. It was a breeze to put together - although, in the final step, it helps to have two people to hold and finish it. The keyboard tray is wide which is great for having papers, etc. nearby. The glass top and keyboard are both glass - finely beveled and strong. The result - as a piece of furniture - is quite pleasing and will match well with most decor, I think. It also surprised me with how stable it is. Great frame design! Definitely glad I bought it. It's downright snazzy!

Arrived in box that was clearly previously opened and poorly re-sealed including black duct tape. Missing instructions and the main "wood" structural support pieces. Packing material was very torn up inside. Amazon made quick work of taking it back. It was a beautiful table, just what I wanted, unfortunately there was no way to just get the missing parts and instructions. Was going to be a 1 month wait for a replacement. I could have lived without the instructions, no way to build it without the missing parts. Amazon folks were VERY understanding and apologetic, got me to calm down and just put it back in the box as best I could. Ordered a 6 foot folding table and very nice linen table cloth instead. With what I saved, I ordered a great chair. Thank you Amazon for being so kind and putting up with me.

I work from home as a software manager, which means the quality of components that surround my desk (including the desk) are pretty important to me. When building out my new home office, I spent hours researching and trying different computer desks. What became blatantly obvious is that a lot of what's available is flimsy junk. I was moments away from purchasing a $600 studio quality audio engineer workstation and converting to home use, when I found this Bell'O CD8841. The reviews and price looked too good to be true, but with the assurance of Amazon's satisfaction return policy I took the plunge. I'm happy I did because this desk is fantastic. The glass has a dark, "tinted" appearance that not only looks professional but doubles as blocking out all of the wires running behind or under the desk. The wood arches that are provided have a high quality finish to them which accents everything nicely. Perhaps the best (and relatively simple) feature of this desk is the strength and width of the keyboard tray. Measuring 32" at the rails, the tray comfortably fits my full sized gaming keyboard and mouse with room to spare. If you are looking for a quality computer desk and don't mind some assembly (took me 45 minutes, but I took my time), grab one of these from Bell'O.

I've wanted this desk for sometime, but was waiting for a better time to purchase because we were moving. Upon receiving the box was in very good condition other than some surface dirt from shipping. The wood pieces are in perfect condition and have a very nice stain to them. The framework is a very nice gloss black that compliments the wood perfectly. Assembly was simple and the instructions were very clear. There were no chips, or scratches in the frame, wood, or glass. The only issue is dust, fingerprints, but honestly it takes a minute or 2 to clean it up and it looks great again. I purchased a separate computer stand for the CPU tower and it sits on the left side. I couldn't say anything bad about this desk; It's beautiful and the materials used to make this are very sturdy and durable.

Very happy with the desk – it is not the cheapest desk around, but having looked at a few I can confidently say, worth every penny. When I ordered this desk I assumed that it would take quite a while to assemble but I was pleasantly surprised. The easy to follow instruction helped me to assemble the desk quickly and all parts are clearly labelled in an efficient and organised way. I’m not particularly DIY proficient but I had this desk assembled and in place in well under an hour. It is made of the highest quality bent wood (in a nice dark shade) and black steel which complement each other perfectly. Note that the joints on steel parts are not polished out and made invisible, as it is the case in many contemporary units. It looks like these were simply welded together and covered in high quality paint – this is by no means a bad point. I think it makes it look a little bit traditional or “retro”, and certainly adds to the overall positive feel of the desk. The tinted glass on top and on the keyboard drawer also looks very classy. In terms of space – it has just the right amount. I have a monitor and a standard A4 printer in one corner and there is plenty of room left to work comfortably. I work from home and it is more than adequate for the job. The last point is the cable management system – in a way it is great as it can really hide all cables and remove all the usual clutter when you use several devices. On the other hand however, because of its positioning, it means that the desk will have to be pushed against a wall – you would not be able to us e it as a “room facing” desk. It is not a problem or a negative for me, but it may be important to others. Overall very impressed with the purchase.

This is a really lovely piece of furniture, very well made and a joy to assemble. Normally I despise putting flat packed furniture together but in this case the instructions are extremely clear and all the parts are clearly labelled in individual plastic pockets.Construction on my own took less than an hour.The wood is of high quality though I did have to drill my own pilot holes (x2) to attach the support brackets. The only negative factor is the amount of polystyrene used in the packaging of the desk.......Polystyrene hell ! An still finding bits of the stuff 3 days later. Overall am extremely happy with my purchase.

It is bigger than I thought it would be but that said, I love it. It really is stylish, sturdy, easy to clean and assemble (my son assembled it with his girlfriend). I would definitely recommend this and for the price it is worth it.

this desk is great. fabulous quality and looks very smart. the assembly instructions were very easy to follow in fact the easiest instructions ive ever had to follow. delivery was quick and it was well packaged. i would very highly recommend this stylish desk. 5 stars to the company!!!
