I was around a lot of sand and the cap kept it off the valve. The opening is large and cleaning it out was a breeze. It comes with a couple of extra O rings in case the one on the hose comes off . This is a solid product, right up there with the more expensive ones that are $40+. I will be purchasing another one in the near future.

**Q: How do you open it to fill it with water? I can't seem to get it open.**
A: Same problem. Answer turned out to be “yes, turn it so hard you think you’re gonna break it.”  Whoever packs those sealed it tight.

**Q: How long is the hose?**
A: The hose is 3 feet long.

**Q: Why didn't this bladder come with the back pack holder as is described in the photos? That's the reason I bought this product**
A: Mine had one, it broke, but it has a hook on the opposite side of the handle.

**Q: Is this bladder certified food-grade, bpa-, bps-, phthalate-free?**
A: According to the vendor's description it is BPA free. There was no mention of BPS or phthalate that I could find. It is made of TPU material, so perhaps a search for the properties of the material will provide more information.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ durable, insulated, easy to take apart

This water bladder has been great. I like that it is a littler larger (2.5 liters). It's insulated which is good because previous hoses for bladders have cracked because of this. You can lock the mouthpiece. Easy to take apart to clean. Only drawback is that it still freezes in the mouthpiece when I go skiing. I don't know if there's any way to prevent this. Oh, and if you don't put the cap on correctly it will leak. It has lasted longer than other bladders I've used in the past. Great value.
