Embark Adventure No Pull Dog Harness, Heavy Duty Vest, Black Small

We have a Cocker Spaniel and the medium size is perfect for him. This fits nicely and is well made, with a range of colours for choice. Once adjusted it is easy to take on and off, which means our Cocker Spaniel doesn't run off the minute he sees it, like he did another haltie! It appears to be comfortable and looks long wearing.

This will last you many years of daily walks in all kind of conditions Started about 1.5 years ago with a large orange one, when my labrador was a puppy. She turned out pretty small for a lab and the harness was a bit oversized, mainly the chest part was a bit too long, but it was out of the return window. We made it work for about a year and a half as it wasn't too bad, until recently when we finally upgraded to a new blue "medium" one, which fits perfectly. You can see from the picture, the orange one took a beating. We play fetch all the time, and she slides on her belly in the mud, the sand, hard frosty grass in winter, she even swims in it. It went multiple times into the washing machine, gets wet and rinsed pretty much every evening. And it's basically intact. Yes not in new condition, but very sturdy, not sign of it breaking at all. No rust, the clips are intact. No threads coming loose, nothing. Very impressive But now we got a new one, and I am even more impressed. The new harness seems to have some upgraded features: - the straps are thicker and strongers - the clips also seems sturdier - It looks even sleeker with new metal bits design The colours and design are awesome, both are really beautiful on our black lab. Thrilled I decided to go with the Embark harness once again. Looking forward to another few other years with this new harness.

Marshall our collie has had his Embark adventure harness and lead for over 3yrs and still going strong.slightly faded but expected. It was the only one we could find that didnt rub on him and seemed comfortable. we said we would buy ruby our Romania rescue one of the embark harnesses one day when she had finished growing. Last year we did buy the embark sports harness, but couldn't get on with the hook being far back. Recently purchased the Urban Aurora harness ( medium size) for Ruby and she looks beautiful wearing it, but managed twice to get her paws out of the front of the harness,but has been tightened up without causing distress. we shall see how we go and whether it will loosen on it s own.I was put off slightly putting the harness back on her after the second time. Fits perfectly on the body and did wonder at one point whether a size down might of worked better or a harness designed for smaller medium dogs that have slimmer and longer legs that can't easily slip their legs out of the front. Love the handle on the top. would of liked to of seen reflective strips in the harness for darker days . Always use the solid hook on the back for the lead. understanding the fact that a lead and collar are not good for dogs throats how safe are harnesses when it comes to the health of dogs backs? overall the harness is good quality etc, but I wouldn't pay anymore over £25 for any harness. I have come back today to knock a star off my review as after the harness being tightened up; on our walk today Ruby's harness seemed to of loosen itself and she got her head through the harness from one of the sides. September 2023 i have Come back to say that I gave up using the embark harness on ruby and seems alot better with the true love harness. We had come across the true love harness before when we choose one from the rescue centre where we collected ruby from. I discovered some mths ago amazon sold the brand , had ruby new size in and so far every walk has been enjoyable 😉

Love these harnesses, brilliant fit for our boxer dog. Had a Julius harness previously but found this harness better for deep chested dogs. The material means a comfortable fit with no rubbing. They are very robust, only bought an extra one to use as a permanent travel harness in our van. Easy to adjust and great that it has hooks on the front and back as well as a grab handle. Highly recommend

Loved the bright colours on this they suit my dog perfectly. The size was true to the description with plenty of adjustment. I have a bully breed with a larger neck and shoulders and it still fits lovely. Very high quality at a very reasonable price. The D-rings to clip the lead to are very sturdy. Our dog is a puller on lead and have had no problems with tearing or ripping it still seems very secure even after a lot of usage. Functionality wise, I love that it also has the clip on the front which again helps with using a double ended lead for more control when out walking. Overall very happy with this harness and would definitely buy this brand again.

Nice harness, seems very well made and has great features. Price point is great and it looks good. The teal colour is really nice. We bought a medium and it initially seemed a good fit. Since we used it more I'm not convinced it was the right size for our dog. It gapes at the front and rubs the top of his legs and his tummy. We've had the harness for 10 months now and the fabric has started to tear where the lead attaches so we will have to replace. Our dog (beagle) constantly pulls on the lead and we take him running & on long hikes. I'm not really sure how long we should expect the harness to last in these circumstances. Despite this I think the product is good quality & value, so I would still recommend :) Edit - Forgot to mention our dog is able to escape from the harness if we are sat down somewhere, he will walk around something to lever his lead and then back out of the harness. Not really an issue when walking but I guess this is another indicator the fit could be better. Also, other harnessed have a clip and lock function, but this one doesn't have it - would be a nice addition.

This is a great harness. Fits nicely and has lots of adjustable straps. No harness is no pull so they shouldn’t put that on there - remember harnesses were originally designed to allow your dog to pull you more efficiently and this goes back to huskies pulling sledges. A nice double stitched in handle on back for safety which we use when getting him back up on the paddleboard. Very comfy for him when in the car for safety as well Also has a double stitched lead hook on the back and front of harness for leads. Absolutely brilliant harness would definitely recommend It also allows full range of motion on the shoulder and doesn’t restrict any movement so I know that my dog will develop properly even if he were to wear this daily.

My 12lb rescue dog has no recall yet and it is critical to keep him safe/controlled. This is the 4th harness I have used/bought. Two of them he could come out of....one was so stiff and had little pieces of nylon threads that would stick into the skin....and the one he came out of the pound with....which is a pretty good one....is virtually impossible to get a leash on with the double ring, and a squirming active dog. This harness has a large footprint....it is substantial, but it is padded and soft. There are no little pieces of nylon sticking out. The hook on the top STANDS UP!!.......making it easy to hook your leash to. (this is a really big deal with arthritic hands). It is real easy to adjust and easy to put on. Best of all....there is a HANDLE.....with which you can lift your dog or assist up your dog. I shopped Walmart, Petsmart, Tractor Supply.....everywhere....this is the best I have found. There is also some reflective tape on the harness. Not cheap.....but well worth the price.

Wir habe jetzt seit etwa einer Woche diese Geschirr und sind bis jetzt sehr begeistert. Sie sitzen sehr gut und lassen genug Bewegungsfreiheit für die Schulter. ( wie auf den Bildern erkennbar) Meine beiden lagen genau zwischen zwei Größen und wir haben uns für die größere Größe entschieden. So, macht die Verarbeitung einen sehr guten Eindruck, jedoch werde ich in einigen Monaten mehr dazu schreiben können, nachdem wir sie auf Husky Dauerbelastung ( spazieren joggen unter permanenten ziehen) getestet haben. Besondere Pluspunkte bei dem Geschirr sind der breite Bruststeg und die gute Polsterung an den aufliegenden Punkten. Hier ist das Geschirr einigen Markengeschirren klar überlegen. Und zum Thema Preis Leistung klar ein Sieger. Vergleichbare Geschirre beginnen sonst erst bei ca 50€. Zum Versand kann ich auch nur sagen: Top. Es kommt aus GB und war nach 2 Tagen da. Kleiner Nachtrag.... Heute hat doch tatsächlich ein Geschirr aufgegeben. Beim spazieren sind Nähte kaputt gegangen. Echt schade...

I have never purchased a harness for my dog before, but I definitely should have done it sooner! For reference, she is a corgi, very low to the ground and about 35 pounds. I purchased a size medium. It took some adjusting, but it fits her well. I kind of wish that it didn’t go over the head to put it on, but she really doesn’t seem to mind it and then it’s just an easy two clips. Right away, I noticed that she was pulling much less. The first walk that we took with her and her best dog friend was much more enjoyable because she wasn’t constantly pulling and straining. I definitely felt better as a pet parent , knowing that it wasn’t hurting her neck. So far, I’ve only tried the hook on the back, not the one in the front. The color is super cute and it must be comfortable, she had it on all day at a baseball tournament when it was very hot and it didn’t seem to bother her at all. My boyfriend had purchased a different brand for his dog, and he remarked that he liked mine much better :) so I have a feeling he will be purchasing one as well
