Question 1

Does it say what the pollen count is?

Accepted Answer

LadyM, I got curious with your question and looked at the tin, however there is no mention of pollen count. Perhaps you can contact the producers directly at: info@cretamel.gr I did visit their website and did not find any specifics except general product range and variety. http://www.cretamel.gr/en/orino-wild-herbs-thyme/I searched the web and found an interesting article at: http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2012/04/national-honey-board-honey-is-made-from-nectar-not-pollen/#.VVw6B9IcSpospecifically I was intrigued by the comments posted further down by "BB" Vaughn M. Bryant, Professor and Director, Palynology LaboratoryDepartment of Anthropology, Texas A&M University.I hope I have been of help.P.S. our son is in College in Tulsa OK and we shipped 2X900g cans from Amazon, he was happy with it and found it as good as the honey we source every summer when we visit Greece.

Question 2

Does this can have a plastic lid to go over it once metal is removed?

Accepted Answer

Yes it has a plastic cover.

Question 3

Is this honey raw?

Accepted Answer

It is liquid honey. Excellent tasting.

Question 4

Is there a difference in flavor between this and the squeeze bottled one? it says "meal orino" mountain herbs

Accepted Answer

It is a very different flavor from regular honey, because it's mostly thyme blossoms. I'm not sure what you mean by "the squeeze bottled one." You can put any honey in a squeeze bottle, so if it's Cretan thyme honey, it probably tastes the same. If it's wildflower honey from somewhere else, it'll taste different.
