My husband and I had been looking for a small chest freezer to supplement our kitchen freezer and were disappointed with the selection at our local big box stores. We wanted a black freezer with wire storage baskets and an interior [preferably LED) light. After an unsuccessful search locally we turned to Amazon and ordered an unknown brand (Euhomy, 5.0) at a lower price point. Unfortunately, the freezer arrived with significant damage but not from shipping via the big, brown truck. It actually appeared to have been packaged and shipped in a damaged condition! In addition, the description and pictures did not match what we received...plastic baskets and no lighting. After returning the damaged unit we decided to spend almost double on the "Vevor Chest Freezer, 5 Cu ft Compact Deep Freezer, Free Standing Top Open Door Chest Freezer" as the Amazon description and pictures clarified exactly what we were searching for. The big, brown truck delivered the Vevor freezer today and we couldn't be happier! Although the shipping carton was somewhat beat up, the Styrofoam packaging panels prevented any damage...no dents and no scratches. The unit was easy to unbox and matched the manufacturer's description. One thing I will mention is the Vevor is slightly wider than most other advertised 5.0 cubic foot size brands. Be sure and check the dimensions before ordering! Finally, the electronic controls are easy to use/read, the LED lights provide plenty of illumination, and the unit is easy to level by handturning the rubber feet. After waiting 4 hours before plugging it in, setting up the freezer and giving it a quick clean, it is already getting cold. Running great and we just loaded it up! As a precautionary note...our interior defrost drain plug was in the bag with the manual and the ice scraper. Don't forget to install it before loading your freezer with food. We spent more than we intended but in this case you get what you pay for. Our Vevor Chest Freezer far exceeds the inexpensive unit we had to return. Excellent product, easy ordering, and looking forward to having the additional freezer capacity!

Perfect size for medium size kitchen. Quite. Fast freeze, nice. Seems to be energy efficient. Black color matches appliances. Nice option of the easy move wheels. 6+ months in Vevor product appears more than ample. Will be back at the year end or (a year and a half Mark) to be more definitive.

Great little freezer! Would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so difficult to open right after you close it. You have to wait a few minutes for the seal to loosen.

The hardest thing was the delivery of the unit. The first unit was DOA. I tried to work with the vender to expedite the replacement. When that didn't work, I went through Amazon. I recieved the 2nd unit about a week later. It has been wonderful since I recieved it.

If I could give this a zero stars I would. I spent $1350 on this freezer. It was not delivered in the right day. Therefore, I was not in town. They delivered it to my front door when it is clearly stated it is a garage refrigerator. Way too heavy for me to move the box so I had to take it out of the box and roll it on the sidewalk and driveway to the garage. Then 14 months later, it died. I had a freezer full of meat and wet dog food. I contacted the company. They said they had a one year warranty and would not help me out at all. They would not pick up the broken freezer. They would not replace it bc it only had a one year warranty. They would not replace my entire trash can full of food that I had to throw away. Don’t buy from this company. You would think a $1350 freezer would last longer than 14 months but even the company doesn’t think it will bc they are not doing anything about it.

Great freezer and has the option for a refrigerator too.

Small and quiet deep freezer. Love the size of this unit when a normal larger one won't work. Digital screen on the front is great peace of mind over competition who use the turn knobs. I use a basic freezer thermometer inside to verify the current temperature.
