Incredibly handy. I was worried the ball at the tip would come off after extended use but so far that has not been the case despite the snags and bumps it unintentionally got hooked around. The one piece of kit I never expected to need but has found a use repeatedly in the short time I have had it.

I work for a broadband company as an installer. You constantly need to reach just a bit further and this thing gives you a few feet of reach. The hook is not in a fixed position so it will sometimes turn on you when you want it to stay straight but that's much better than not being able to reach at all.

Gives me just enough extra reach when in ceiling tiles and tight spaces to pull or redirect cables towards me. Compact enough I don't even notice it in my tool pouch but always there when I need it. Not the sturdiest tool but it's not designed to be. For larger jobs, glow rods with a hook at the end would be the way to go but in a pinch this hasn't failed me yet. No brainer to keep on you if you're in any low voltage/IT/Cabling industry.

This is one of my favorite tools. I work in HVAC, specifically in controls. I've used this thing on a daily basis ever since I bought it, and it's been an enormous time saver. Wire a little out of reach? No problem, whip this thing out of my chest pocket, grab, and go. No re-positioning of the ladder, no leaning too far over, and no stern reprimands from my foreman for unsafe ladder antics. That said, this thing could be built a little better. I'd happily pay twice as much if they just made it a little stronger, even if it made the tool heavier. It is strictly light-duty, not to be subjected to any kind of force. If you do, well, you'll end up with a broken one. Like me. Still, though, its worked its way into my routine, and it's very much worth re-purchasing. Highly recommended, even if it doesn't stand up to much abuse.

Good. Strong for the size

As a Physician with spinal problems I must say this is a wonderfully compact tool for retrieving dropped objects like keys, etc. I recommend it to all my patients with impaired bending capacity. No more struggling in a parking lot after you drop your keys. I go nowhere with out it.

A very handy tool for lighting/electrical, but super easy to lose so keep it on a lanyard!

Great Product

Had this for a couple of years...it works, but it's too light. It bends, and doesnt take a strong tug. If you're trying to tug 14/2 wire in a tight space, this tool isn't strong enough. Mine pulled apart eventually...way too expensive for its ability. You're paying for Greenlee name, but not the quality.

Top hook dislodged quiet easily, it's broken after that.
