This waterproof Cargo storage container from Rugcel is amazing. It’s super durable, easy to mount, and keeps all my items secure with its 3 latches and locks. It allows me to keep all of my extra camping gear inside and frees up room in my vehicle. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

I like it but they need better tie down options for roof racks no one wants to just drive around with a ratchet strap around a box. I ended up buying cable locks and putting them through the holes for the roof rail bolts. This works great for a roof rack so why wouldn’t you provide a tie down option for that makes no sense. You need a better design team. I think the price is high but it is what it is. Just do better on the options fo securing

Nice heavy duty case, I bought Roam Rugged Mounts after & they worked perfectly after removing the side plastic mounts & slightly setting the angle to match the angle of the case, also bolted the inside case hook to it. So much easier to take them on & off so worth the extra expense.

Although I purchased the 98l overland cargo box, my negative review lies with the company customer service. My cargo box arrived missing several pieces and as such was not lockable. I contacted the Rugcel customer service department asking for the missing parts. There response was that they do not supply mounting hardware. Since I had not asked about mounting hardware I was understandably confused. I contacted them again, this time adding a photo (taken from their own web page) of the missing locking brackets. I never received a response. I contacted them a third time, and again never got a response. I will also add that my cargo box came with the screws for the locking brackets but no installation paper work. It also came with a large handful of rivets for who knows what? They claim to have great customer service but that clearly was not my experience and I would not recommend any of their products to anyone

Got the 58L for my roof rack. Would've loved the 98L but it wouldn't work with my set up length wise. But the 58L does just fine. Fits perfectly. Built really great and extremely rugged. Latches and hinges all work flawlessly. The structure are so smooth. Came with all needed mounting hardware. And even came with stickers ;). Do wish it was a bit taller height wise to have more interior space since it is shorter then the other models but does have a good amount of space inside.

2nd Update - I was missing hardware like other buyers mentioned. I reached out to the company and they were delivered. If you get these, the product is good but customer service isn’t. They aren’t thorough and you might be missing hardware. IF you’re stubborn like me, you can order the hardware separately - it can be found on Amazon, and I’d get slightly longer M8 bolts. The lock holes that allow the use of a cable lock are different sizes too so not every cable lock will work. Lot of trial and error. Again carriers are very solid of but there some inconsistencies. 3 stars.

I researched roof top cargo boxes for weeks. Found and this and was motivated to order on price point alone. Was super surprised to find the quality of it is really great. Sturdy and relatively light weight for its size. Only downside is the “lock” options. Very few locks will work on this. Other than that a solid investment.

I've had roof top carriers before. None of them were anywhere even close to this one. It says heavy duty. It actually is heavy duty. Sturdy as all get out. Heavy duty plastic. Seals tight. I could stand on this thing and it wouldn't blink. The clasps look like those silicone ones you get on coolers. They are not those. They are actually hard plastic, with a hinge on them. You hook the hinge under a clasp and then the handle snaps down to clamp it shut. Sounds more complicated than it is, point being, the lid clasps are as high quality as the rest of the unit. Comes with a bag of extra screws and rivets I guess in case anything breaks. The hinges, also built to last. Machined aluminium with a heavy duty hydraulic rod as well. Hinges are the weak point in my previous cartoon carriers, this one has hinges that are serious. Cartop carriers are always expensive, even for low quality ones that won't stand up to repeated opening and closing. This one on the other hand is more than worth the price. Pretty sure this is the last carrier I'll own, and I'm not going to have any frustrations using it. Really happy, as I said, this is high quality and more than I expected.

It is a monstrous storage box that you can rely on for sure. It's pricey but if you want the reliable and yet want something rugged, this is it. Very sturdy construction and I can't wait for the summer to use it for camping etc.
