OM Magnetic Quick-Release Mount

I initially bought this to add the convenience of MagSafe attachment to my mobile gimbal, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be a high-quality phone stand as well. As a mount, the magnet is very strong and stays with the phone when removing from the gimbal. This is ideal if you would like to leave it on phone to use independently as a stand. The ring stand has a very sturdy hinge, and rotates to allow both landscape and portrait orientation use. I find I use most as a low-profile phone stand on days where I’m not using the gimbal at all. Very well-thought out and well-made product.

This is the perfect accessory for the Osmo gimbal if you own an iPhone with Magsafe. It fits the iPhone 16 Pro perfectly and once attached it stays put until you remove it, which takes a bit of force. Luckily, the handle helps to pull it off. By slightly twisting the mount, you can adjust it so it is level. The added weight is negligible. It even works with the oversized case around my phone and still balances correctly. The pull out handle seems a bit flimsy, and may be the only weak spot. Unfortunately, you can't leave it on and still charge your phone using Magsafe. Overall, if you have an iPhone and the Osmo gimbal, you need this.

The magnet is pretty strong especially if you use a MagSafe case. It is very secure and had not had issues with my phone falling off the mount. It’s relatively small and does not add significant weight overall and is a good accessory if you have the Osmo stabilizers. It also doubles as a grip in the back and can be used as a stand alone phone stand in either portrait or landscape mode.

Excellent functionality and so much easier to use. Have two DJI gimbals with one of these for each of them!

This is good accessory for the iPhone using the 7P. The downside to it is the multifunctional module will not work which defeats the purpose of having the module in the first place. For everyday use it serves well like all the Phone Rings and pop sockets. This is magnetic so you can stick to any magnetic surface. Its just too bad the module will not work.

Best purchase!

Designed for iPhone perhaps, but works great on my Samsung S25 Ultra with UAG Monarch Pro magsafe case. Seems pretty sturdy although I will say that I haven't shaken it that vigorously to see the failure point. The DJI magnetic mount will likely fail before the magsafe does. Will write back when I test harder....

Went well, I would like another one!

Absolutely fantastic little device if you're using a gimbal a lot. It's very sturdy, and the phone doesn't fall off the gimbal whilst using it, which I was slightly concerned about, as I do have quite a thick case on my phone. It's already one of the biggest you can get. I was worried that it would fall off mid-shoot, but it hasn't yet, and that's six months in, so would highly recommend.

It’s very good for what it does. Along with being compatible with DJI osmo mobile, it is also an excellent MagSafe ring! Easy to use the ring and help the phone stand is multiple angles. It’s also magnetic so you can then stick your phone up against metal, like stick it to the fridge etc. Really good product.

I have a DJI phone gimbal, and I noticed that the original phone clip never felt properly balanced. I had to adjust the gimbal every time I used it, which became inconvenient. I decided to try this magnetic quick-release mount, and it solved the problem right away. My phone now sits well balanced, and the magnet feels strong and secure. Another big plus is how easy it is to use. You can even leave the mount attached to your phone, making setup much faster each time. Overall, this is a very practical upgrade for anyone using a DJI phone gimbal.
