But replacing Eden’s stock pillowcase with this one provides a substantial improvement, making even the warmest of nights bearable. And while it won’t keep the spot you’re lying on cool forever, you need only move slightly to find another cool spot. I seem to only need to do this a few times before I just fall asleep. It would be ideal if the Eden came bundled with this pillowcase, but at least I have the stock one as a backup for when the cooling pillowcase is in the wash.

This pillowcase is a magical fix for the very comfortable Coop Eden pillow’s one flaw: Heat buildup. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this to replace an old regular thin cotton cloth travel pillow cover. I use the travel pillow as my regular nightly pillow. I'm a side and back sleeper and switch positions frequently during the night. I find that the small travel pillow is much easier to manipulate and position and as such it does a better job of supporting my head than a standard pillow does. This pillow cover is very well built, well cushioned and closes around the travel pillow with a zipper. This is much better than the old plain cloth open ended pillow cover I had been using. I didn't have much hope that the "cool side" feature would actually work and thought it was more of a marketing gimmick. To my surprise, I found out that this actually does work and the "cool side" of the pillow cover is significantly cooler than the "plush side". I did not think that there was a fabric that would actually accomplish this, but there is.
