ACDelco 11M24 Professional Front Power Window Motor

I had the misfortune of ordering with Partsavatar.ca and they sent me a motor that did not actually work for my van like they suggested. After realizing this motor looked the exact same as my existing one which was dying, I went ahead and ordered it. Works like a dream. Would recommend

I decided to spend a little more and make this a one-time replacement on my driver-side Chevy Astro window. The old motor had finally failed with the window down a couple inches--it was definitely time to replace this motor! I had some help from the same mechanic who had rolled the window down while doing another repair (Doh!), and he said it was not the switch, and that the regulator rarely failed on this model. I recommend that you watch a video on YouTube on how to do it, but this repair is relatively straight-forward. On my 1998 model, the motor had been replaced before, so I was just updating someone else's work. Thus I did not have to drill out any rivets. The motor came supplied with 4 8-32 machine screws with star washers and nuts. However, getting behind the bracket with nuts is quite a difficult trick. Instead, I endorse a tip I found on one of the videos--use #10 self tapping (sheet metal) screws, 1/2" length, preferably with a hex head. Use an impact driver to install them. They are a tight fit in the motor mount holes, but the impact driver makes short work of that, and they pull up nice and tight on the regulator bracket (go easy, don't over-torque them). Be careful not to drill out the regulator holes too much when removing the rivets; the holes must be smaller than 0.190 so the screws can cut some thread. The motor shaft extends beyond the gear a bit--seat that in the hole in the regulator, then rotate it until the hole pattern lines up, and install the four fasteners. On the Astro van, all I needed were the "GM Door Panel Clip". The other suggested panel faster was not needed, and it may be an alternate type that does the same job. You may not even need to replace any of these, if you remove the door carefully. GM Door Panel Clip (Qty: 25) Gripper Box # 2191T by PDQ I do not detect any excessive noise with this motor, it just sounds like a window motor to me. I liked seeing that there is some thermal protection built into the assembly, given the repair history on this window. Once the window is up, the motor cuts off nicely, does not appear to strain at the end at all. It just closes tight and shuts off, without any special adjustment required. Perfect.

Funcionó bien la instalación es fácil vienen las tuercas y rondanas solo vuelas los remaches con los que viene originalmente y pones la tornillería una limpieza a las correderas y lubricación con grasa de litio o de siliconas y conectas el enchufe fue facil
