Spring is VERY tight causes door key part to wear out
I replaced the microwave door key and spring in February 2022, the new spring is very very stiff. Opening the door requires quite a strong pull to open and push to close, which wears out the key in about 18 months. If the spring could be loosened just a bit, I would guess that I wouldn't have to replace the key. The first door key lasted 12 years with the original spring. The replacement door key lasted 18 months with the new much tighter spring. Keep a door key handy, because it will wear out faster with this spring.
