I got into red light therapy after a surgery. I’m amazed by how well this simple gadget works. I use it on my scalp regularly and my daughter’s after braids caused tension bumps on her hair line. It’s a life saver.

Unfortunately this mini and the other mini(the NIR stand alone) do not have the capacity to provide therapeutic light. I have ordered and tried both, yes, they light up but my research says that regular aaa alkaline batteries(which they reach use) are not capable of producing therapeutic light, at all. I've returned both.

It kind of worked but it it did not even cover the entire muscle it needed to heal.

I wanted small when I ordered this-- the picture over-states the size. It's REALLY small. It is portable, you can feel the warmth of the light and it is clearly keychain possible. For that, it is what it advertises. It will take me longer in using it on the go to see how effective this very small unit can be.
