I ordered this to use during my time of vocal rest from having vocal cord injections. I was unable to speak for a week so this helped to communicate and allow me to feel “a part” of conversations. It has buttons that you can pre record short messages so one of them I pre recorded me laughing and my family got a kick out of me using that button every now and then when necessary lol. I did wish it had a goodbye button though! It was so easy to use and it also has a volume setting which was great. I passed it on to my relative who works in a hospital and can give it to a patient that could utilize it. It would be great for tracheostomy patients who cannot speak, nonverbal people, or people like me who just needed some vocal rest for a bit. It was such a great product! Highly recommend!

Bought for my special needs daughter

This device has been very helpful for my neices. One who is non verbal but is repeating after the words from the device and the other neice is a toddler who is turning 2 years old in September but also repeats what she learns from the device. I purchased the 2 styles. I saw someone on Facebook using a similar device. This is a wonderful tool.

Good quality, not heavy, like the customizable recording buttons, most importantly gives nonverbal people a voice. My cons were: a little big for four year old hands, sound could be louder, should add words by pictures, and a little easier to push the buttons.

Excellent product at a good price

This device has been a fantastic addition to our daily routine. The 6 programmable buttons are the perfect 'starter' amount—not too overwhelming, but enough to cover basic needs like 'water,' 'bathroom,' or 'all done.' The recording process is incredibly easy and the audio is surprisingly clear. I also appreciate the adjustable volume, as some environments are much louder than others. It’s durable enough for kids but looks professional enough for adult rehab too. A total win for non-verbal communication!

I got this for someone with mobility issues and who is non verbal. They are still able to use their arms and hands at a normal level but unfortunately the buttons on this are very difficult to push. The volume is also some what low on the highest setting. The concept is great. And it’s a good option for those who need something budget friendly. It just didn’t quite serve its purpose for us due to the above mentioned.

Disappointed in this device. Sound volume is very poor, have to hold device close to your ear and still can barely hear it,even turning up volume to maximise level does not help. Waste of money buying this.

absolutely brilliant little device, so much better than expected - my non-speaking 4yr old is autistic and absolutely loves it and it has been so helpful in moments where she is overwhelmed but unable to express what she wants or needs. really easy to record 6 of your own expressions too that are more suited to your own child. superb value for money. would highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t have access to the higher end products available!

The Joy Reel 24 button remote has been an absolute game changer for us. My son is nonverbal, and this device has given him a way to finally express himself in a way that’s simple and effective. My Grandson loves it he’s non verbal and it’s an ideal way for him to let us know what he wants. Every button has an image to coincide with anything he could possibly need or want.
