Review: Why do I love this stupid thing so much?!? - Damn it... Though I find myself constantly grabbing up mail-order bullcrap, I am shocked that this did not end up in the "use to like" pile... It has stayed with me. Every damn day. It is beyond handy. It is beyond functional. It is beyond convenient. It clips to my belt, and I forget it is even there... until I need it. Then BOOM, instant knife. From opening a letter, to cutting a trapped civilian from their seat belt in a crash. Always there. A couple weeks back, we attended a music festival. As we approached the front ticket area, in a VERY long line, I realized they were scanning people for "weapons", and I still had this on my belt... I freaked. I simply did not want to lose my "knife"... My wife said that it was cheap, so just admit I forgot about it, hand it over, forget about it, and get a new one... She was not wrong. But... I pulled it off of my belt, folded a few bills into the clip, let it roll through the scanner with my wallet and phone. It came out on the other side without a red alert, and I made my way to the venue. (Results may very...😉) Even though this is worth every damn penny, ND they are not very expensive, I am just glad to not have needed to purchase another. I love this little beast. Now, go get your own...

Best not to trap fingers in rings anyway. This is not a money holder, but could pass as one of need be. The clip can be unscrewed and rotated 90⁰. If you understand Filipino martial arts, you would very much enjoy this knife. Anyone who is bitching about this knife truly has no understanding what it's for it how to use it. I may make my own sheath that will hide it under my belt. The price just for the steel is a steal.

A: the clip does not rotate at all.

**Q: What is the thickness of the blade and sheath, can the clip be removed, and what is the thickness of the sheath with the clip removed?**
A: The blade is. .111" thick.  The case is .283" thick. w/o the clip. The clip looks like it can be removed via 5 screws. Case and clip are .719" in total.

**Q: Can this be attached to the back of a cellphone? If yes would it be relatively easy to draw the blade out of the sheath?**
A: No, it is not designed to attach to a phone.

**Q: What is the weight of the blade without the sheath?**
A: Maybe a couple ounces.  Pretty light

It shaved my hand out of the box. Quality steel for sure. The ring is a bit small for my fingers, but my hand fits over the ring well. Best not to trap fingers in rings anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, but could be less overwhelming

Yes, it will clip your folded dollar bills and/or cards and give you a handy blade in an emergency, and it does not weigh much, but...I find it a bit lumpy, a bit too large for a pocket that often includes another small EDC and maybe some keys. The clip is very stiff so getting the money under it is challenging at times. Deploying the blade takes a little practice but gets easier. Replacing it is a bit more of a trick, unless you hit the exact right angle of entry. Minor quibbles...it's not expensive, the Schrade blade is sharp, and it's something of a conversation piece. --W.D. Gagliani, author of The Judas Hit
