Does the light have a blue-ish tone? I've read that in many reviews from various brands. Is it holding up well after years of use? thx

Its a very bright white light in full direct sunlight. We installed ours over 2 years ago and it's holding up extremely well. We have many days over 110 degrees in the summer here and no problems.

Will woodpeckers land on & peck on the dome?

Per the manufacturer there have been no reports of Woodpecker damages.

Could this be Installed on a wall not a roof? I have solar panels in the roof.

Not really, it would defeat the purpose of directing light /sun downward into your darkened room.
