Is the nuprep gel safe for mri?

Nuprep gel is not recommended for use with current inducing electrodes such as defibrillator or neuro-stimulating equipment. Nuprep gel contains insoluble materials that may shadow, or interfere with a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination. Prior to an MRI exam, ensure all materials used in the neurodiagnostic examination are cleaned from the electrode sites. The ingredients are Water, Aluminum Oxide, 1,2 Propanediol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Red 40, FD&C Yellow 5.

Can you use this to wipe dead dry skin off of feet?

Well, actually, it’s used for medical preparation. I don’t think it’s got enough grit to do that. Its function is to remove a microscopic layer of skin along with oils so that there’s a conductivity between the electrodes and the patient skin. So the answer is I’m going to say no
