A business owners dream
Literally so amazing I Airbnb my home sometimes and besides that my friends come to stay often so they get finger prints and guests get a code that ends when they leave. Its battery life is great and it’s pricey but worth it! I really think it’s ideal for business owners as well as people who have a lot of visitors it can track who comes in and out or how people get in via fingerprint or code

Upgrade your front door!
This was my first time installing/using a smart lock and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. It was really easy to install and program on your phone. Great quality. I don’t have carry around a key. I can let people in right from my phone or grant them a code. I appreciate the ease and simplicity it adds to my everyday life

Great multifunctional WiFi lock
Great Wi-Fi lock. Many ways to enter from using a fingerprint to a code. Can open the door remotely.

Genie Pin with built-in Wi-Fi
This product works as advertised. It conveniently and quickly connects to Wi-Fi once installed so I'll activity can be monitored and performed from the app. I haven't linked it to Alexa yet so nothing to report at the moment. Very happy with the quality of the build. Love the genie pin and how it randomizes the order every time a code is entered. The fingerprint button works extremely well if you take time when registering your fingerprint. I would definitely and have recommended to friends.

My new favorite smart lock
First time buying this brand and I love it. I use to buy the Schlage brand exclusively. The. I read the reviews on this and thought I should give it a try. It works wonderfully and tells you if your door is open or closed. Has an automatic lock feature after 30 seconds. That’s why it needs to know if the door is open or closed. If your door is open for say a minute and then you close the door, the lock will lock instantly once the door is closed. I was looking for a WiFi lock and this one works. We got a house that we have been fixing up. I can remote let contractors come in and I know if they left the door open and if the door is locked. This is a game changer. Just wish it worked with my ring security system. The one negative thing I have found is that the display on this device is dim. Because the number pad gets scrambled every time if you have to use the keypad and if it’s in the sun it is almost impossible to see the numbers. I kinda wish they had a real keypad. But I plan to get more of these still.

Very dependable and quality lock.
We have 2 Lockly locks. This one has more features than the first one we put on our door in our condo in Cabo. Both work excellent. This one has been on our door for over a month. The one in Cabo for over a year and has never failed. I love the app access on this lock. Recently I was away from home when the cleaning lady arrived and did not know how to use her code. I was able to unlock from my phone.

Remote Control feature simply does not work
Buyer beware, this lock is an example of execution failure. I'm both a network engineer and a software engineer who specializes in embedded design and development. This lock has a fundamental problem related to remote connectivity. The lock runs on four AA batteries and it must stretch out battery life to operate a touch screen, move a lock motor and maintain a wifi radio link to an access point. This company's older models used bluetooth which consumes much less power. Since I installed this lock, I fought with tech support for over two weeks to try to make this lock work including enabling its designated sleep schedule to preserve battery life and hopefully coax the lock into working but this lock simply will not maintain a wifi connection no matter what I did. I measured 40dbm to 60dbm consistently between the lock and my access point which by all accounts is very good wifi signal yet I am constantly fighting to be able to remotely control the lock with the lockly app. In short, the remote control feature is severely broken. A core feature advertised. I refuse to shell out $$ for an advertised feature that doesn't work. So this review will be accompanied with a return/refund. Their latch locks that rely on a Bluetooth connection to a Bluetooth to wifi bridge work well and I'll be returning the deadbolt for the latch model. However, if you're looking at a smart lock like this I would steer clear of lockly products. Lockly tech support is abysmal too. It's all email, asking ridiculous questions like pulling out batteries and reinserting them, just a useless barage of troubleshooting steps when the real problem is their software. Update: Amazon offered me a replacement when I went to return it so I tried another one and ding, ding, ding same problem. Buyer beware, these locks have a fundamental problems working as advertised.

wish i could do 4.5 stars
i really like the function of the lock. the motor is fast, quiet, and powerful. everything is built very well. the included screen protector is nice, essential for one of my locks. the fingerprint has worked really well so far. pairing worked seamlessly. the inside is smaller than most and the batteries are installed straight out the front. my other slid out the top and was blocked by a deadbolt above. much easier to change batteries now. now for the issues. this does not have matter. everywhere i looked said this would work with smartthings as long as it was a matter capable hub. but not true. this particular version does not have matter. that was a huge deal for me, i thought. but it ended up not really being. i only tried to use smartthings to have everything in one app and in one widget, but i've slowly ended up with enough things outside of that that moving the locks out didn't really matter. and when i tried the google home widget, it's actually better than the smartthings widget, so that worked out for me. and i thought basically all locks were waterproof, but this one is not. it say not to install outside without cover, but one of mine was. so i bought a hood type cover that's supposed to be for a video doorbell, it fit perfectly. it actually rained hard after i installed it, and the cover actually worked perfectly. now the biggest issue i had is actually a design flaw, at least that's what i would call it. the exterior is not flat along the entire body. so when it's tightened to the interior plate, it actually pulls the top away from the door. the most i saw was about 1/8". they actually use 3m tape at the top to tape it to the door. but as soon as you tighten the bolts, it pulls that tape away anyway. it's definitely a smaller gap, but still a gap. there is a threaded part to bolt through the door, but no bolt or washer or anything was provided for that. if you don't tighten the plate too much it won't pull the top away as hard, which is what i did for my uncovered door, to try to seal it as well as possible. but now the inside part of lock is just loose. overall just a bad design. prob worth taking off a star, but i liked everything else enough to not.
