Do you only sprinkle it into the bin bag or do you sprinkle it directly into the outside bin??

I have done both ; sprinkled it into my kitchen bin liner as well as sprinkling it loosely into my black wheelie bin.

Does this kill insects and flies

I had maggots one hot summer and used this.. worked a treat ..got rid of them all

I want to sprinkle it into my wheelie bin to deter flies. does it need to be rinsed out afterwards? or can i just sprinkle and be done with it?

I just sprinkle it and leave it. I was the wheelie once emptied and put some in after it is dry too.
