D2H LED Bulbs No Ballast Required 110W 40000Lm Super Bright 12V 6500K Cool White Built-in Fan and 2 Thermally Conductive Copper Tubes Fog Lamp

This my initial assessment of the CHOPDARK D2H LED Bulbs bulbs. First off, I am very impressed with the intensity of these LED Bulbs! I have a SUV that had the Xenon HID (High Intesity Discharge) bulbs along with the separate high-voltage ballast module. I have had one headlight or the other go out and the dealership wants nearly $1000 (each) to perform the repair of the headlight HID bulbs! Also, the design of the full headlight assembly has a "bug" (or 'feature' for the dealership service shop) that allows moisture into the interior that then gets into the high-voltage ballast module and damages it, thereby, blowing out the HID bulb and/or Ballast. I wanted to end this nightmare of HID bulb & Ballast and replace everything with the CHOPDARK D2H LED Bulbs. I installed the bulbs by using the existing 12V DC wiring inside the headlight assembly by buying a male connector and soldered it to the LED's leads (along with heat shrink tubing on each wire to protect the soldered connections from moisture!) and just plugged the LED into the existing DC power cable that used to go to the high-voltage ballast module. Makes removal very easy, if needed! (See attached photo showing connector and LED attached with heat shrink tubing, before melting!) My approach also made installation very clean and with NO cutting of wires, as suggested by every YouTube video showing the repair/replacement/conversion of the HID bulbs to LED! I will update this review as time passes to give insight into the actual reliability of these CHOPDARK D2H LED Bulbs!!!! Enjoy!

Great item works great, very bright

The first box sent out to me was completely empty and the bubble wrap package around it was never even sealed but they fixed it by sending me out a new box when I told him about it. The pins on ends of the wires are a bit thin and can break easy other than that it seems to do pretty darn good so far and it's completely adjustable on its angles of how It's facing. In my Prius that was designed for HID headlights I found that the LEDs will do best if they're facing to the left and right and having the heat sinks on the top and bottom and then adjusting your headlights to wear the lighter lines of the shining light to the sides are down near the ground at about 30 ft away this makes the metal area of the shining light straight to where it doesn't shine up in the back windows on the cars in front but you will get a really good reflection back off of signs and because of the brightness it really make me think I had my brights on with the signs. I did try the headlights at the 180 angle and I could not adjust the light to look correct.

Bought October one headlight only lasted 3 days

Just installed. Amazing. Had way more expensive LED brands and they were not even close. I would highly recommend this product. How long will they last time will tell but if you want to stay safe while driving do not hesitate!

These were definitely a good buy. I replaced my hid headlight bulbs with these I wish I'd found them sooner. The pins fit tight in the socket so don't have worry about them falling out.
