Datsight SCS PDP

Fit my Walther PDP perfectly and hasn't moved or loosened since. I Follow the instructions and it installed easily especially with no adaptor plate and use the correct Loctite and you will be happy with it. Charges quick and very bright in the daylight and you can lower it for darker settings. I like the 3 different settings which are easy to change and feel this is a good unit for the cost. With a stigmatism the green is crystal clear vs red.

Mounted perfectly on my PDP. Works great and looks factory. Love that i can change reticles.

6 month update: Still rocking after well over 1.5k rounds. I leave it on all the time and every other month leave it in sun light to fully charge. Every once in a while I'll change dot modes, but for the most part, I don't touch the sight at all, unlike my other dots that must change batteries. This is a true mount and forget. Keep checking zero....never have I had to adjust on my PDP F. Some complain about the small window, however, remember this is a true CO witness with existing factory sights, so sight acquisition is not a problem. Some times I'll switch to using the irons to keep skills up in case of failure, but most of the time use this great green dot. After 600 rounds or so, it did start build up of carbon on the glass. I got worried as I only used microfiber to clean. The microfiber had no effect on the carbon spots so I was concerned that I might have to return. I finally used a baby wipe which took the carbon off and fully restored perfect clarity of the glass. I would highly recommend this setup. Original post June 2024: This green dot works perfectly and matches with factory sights as true co witness. As a CC, this works perfectly. Not for every eye, but works well for me.

Perfect drop in for the mos 2 optics ready slot on the newer f-series pdp. The Holosun SCS (Solar Charging Sight) PDP (Walther) GR (GReen) reticule (3 options - dot, circle, dot in circle) co-witnesses with the factory front and rear sights right out of the box but the manual states it can be adjusted depending on your needs or preferences. Green dots are nice and bright day or night, auto adjusting but also manually adjustable. No shake-awake option needed for this device because of ridiculously long battery life (20,000 hours) using solar/ambient light recharging capabilities to extend it. *A charged battery is only necessary for nighttime use. It states it'll run off solar (and simultaneously charge) in day/ambient light. It came charged in the box so I haven't tested this yet. Maybe in a couple years.. only if it never sees the light! So.. don't look for a battery port because it's sealed within. The sight can be turned on/off with a side button that also cycles through the variety of reticules and brightness you choose. A few people seemed to complain about the mild effort of setting the reticule and brightness but the button is very slightly recessed so that there is no accidental changing of your settings whether in use or bumped when not. Use your fingertip to press the button semi-firmly, not your wider fingerpad, it's simple. The grooves on this Holosun sight line up flawlessly with the f-series slide allowing for unhindered grip on rear end chamboring. It's a two screw install after removing the mos plate and the manufacturer does suggest a tiny dot of removable lock-tite on each screw though that was not included. This Holosun has a small enough footprint for ccw/edc and will fit in sight-ready kydex, leather, or other similarly designed carriers. This was designed specifically for the walther series pdp/pdp-f but my experience/review is about the pdp-f which comes standard with the newer mos-2 receptacle. Make sure you have a mos-2 slot on your standard pdp because older pdp's are often mos-1.. or if you intend to use this Holosun with a different manufacturer/model. As this is a new purchase, I will update if anything changes but for now it seems to be a sound, long-term investment.
