This being a dynamic microphone means it will primarily take in audio directly in front of the microphone and there is a pretty sharp drop off in audio pickup when noises are not directly in front. The boom arm bundle is also the best value as it's an all in one solution for many people's gaming or desk setups and incredibly easy to setup.The noise cancellation feature is helpful but generally should only be used if your environment is just too loud and you just need to be heard (even at the expense of the audio being distorted to digitally remove extra noise).I highly recommend picking this up as it's an incredible value and solution to many people's needs.Edit: Enjoy the singing from our two kids!
