Have tried a few highlighter pencils. These work the best of all that I have tried. Seem softer, which highlights well. Make sure you have a large sharpener as these do require sharpening more often than lead pencils.

Great alternative to plastic pens

I'm replacing some Stabilo Boss Highlighter pencil which are no longer available. I've tried a few brands and these have been the most successful to date. The yellow is by far the best of the set, but the other aren't bad. Certainly better than the koh-i-noor pencils in laydown on the paper but less colours available. Am using them on 28g bible paper and although there is obviously no bleed from the opposite side of the paper, the paper itself is so thin it leaves a slight visible colouration, just enough that you know you've highlighted on the other page but not so much that it disturbs your reading on the unmarked page. The waxy crayon core could be a bit softer as with paper this thin there is risk of tearing the paper but just be careful and there is no problem. I like them and am happily using them on my hand made bible.

Pleased with the product

Lovely colours that are bold and attention grabbing, although not actually fluorescent. They are pigment dense enough to cover the paper adequately but not mask or overpower the text. They are however very soft and require near constant sharpening. I once used a whole highlighter marking a class set of 25 homework submissions; so they could be both costly and inconvenient.

Probably a more eco conscious alternative to liquid highlighter pens, these pencils do a good job of highlighting text. Dependent on the pen used or text to be highlighted there is no smearing (wait until your writing is dry before highlighting). They’re not as vibrant as liquid highlighters but do a good job. The yellow pencil is the best in my opinion but all the colours work. These pencils are a good alternative to liquid highlighters.

Not to pale. No smearing. Works great. No more dryed out marker highlighter.

Love these highlighters. Since they are a pencil, they never bleed through! Tips are smoothe.

i have used this highlighter pencil in the past. I lent one of the pencils to my sibling and she refused to give it back cos she loved it. It is a must for anyone who reads books. The shape is very comfortable.

Riktigt bra highlighterpennor som inte läcker igenom pappret. Pennan är lite tjockare så den sitter bra i handen. En vanlig pennvässare för standardtjocka pennor är för liten. Nöjd med pennorna!
