Christ the Healer: The Classic Christian Work on Divine Healing, the Resurrection of Jesus, and Our Salvation

I was not familiar with the author F.F. Bosworth but I love this book. Mr. Bosworth kept things simple while offering a tremendous amount of insight into the subject healing, as provided by the Lord Jesus Christ.

It took me months to complete this book because it is not simply a book. F. F. Bosworth has tapped into what God's ministry is all about. The scriptural references give you the opportunity to read, ponder, and study on the word of God. Jesus Christ on Calvary was not only about the forgiving of sin but just as much about the healing of our bodies. It is written that it is God's promise to those who believe. Many churches today do not teach this fact as F.F. Bosworth points out. This book is painstaking written and is best read slowly and carefully allowing oneself to "marinate" in what is being taught. Loved this reading and the joy it gave me.

This book is a faith builder for those who need healing

Chapter 5 is my favorite, as it explains in detail what faith is, and how to take possession of the promise of healing, in 3 thoroughly explained steps. This book is for every Christian...anything you are praying for can be yours through faith, and understanding how God moves. God loves to heal, and is full to overflowing with great love and compassion! Getting things from God is like playing checkers, when, after one person moves, he has nothing to do until the other player moves. Each person moves in his own turn. Our move it to expect what He promises before we see the healing. Faith always blows the ram's horn before, not after, the walls are down. Jesus at the grave of Lazarus looked up and said, "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me" (John 11:41) though Lazarus was still dead. Only Believe, All Things Are Possible!!!!!!! Buy this book asap!

One of the best books I've read on the subject, if not THE best!

Christ is a healer , as He had healed (past tense ) all of us . This is a great teaching and Faith builder for all believers .

If you want your faith increased on the fullness of Abba Father' s healing power this one is it. Each page brings the reader into a deeper knowledge and intimacy of the love of a Father whose desire it is to heal all.

Since the Holy Spirit led me to this book back in the 90's and I read and studied it, I have not had a flu, cold, bronchitis, none of that 'nonsense', yet before I studied the Truth's in this book, I was sick all the time. This Powerful book by F.F. Bosworth is a must read for any serious born again Christian who wants to live 'healthy' and overcome any sickness or disease. My wife & I followed 'orthodox' Christian teaching the first 10 yrs or so of our Christian lives & then the Holy Spirit led us to Word of Faith teaching, the spring of 91. Spirit filled bible teachers who really understand scriptures, and thru them we heard about Christ The Healer. I cannot recommend this masterpiece of writing, of Truth, highly enough. Learn that sickness & disease is NOT from God. It is from the enemy - John 10:10 - the THIEF (satan) comes to steal, kill & destroy. Every Chapter is SO powerful, but one of my favorites is Paul's 'thorn'. Religion has taught us for years that Paul was sick and God refused to heal him. Simply not true, as you will read in Bosworth's masterful writing. Every orthodox church we ever attended, we were taught that sometimes God 'allows' sickness & disease to teach us something. God does not allow sickness or disease - WE DO! Jesus Christ REDEEMED us from the curse of sickness & disease over 2000 yrs ago. Another chapter I just love is Our Confession. Start confessing God's Word over your life & watch the miracles begin to happen. If you really want to learn the Truth about Divine Healing & your authority over it, BUY, READ & STUDY THIS BOOK. I say again, a MUST READ if you are serious about being and staying healthy and learning the TRUTH once and for all.

Reading this book now. What insight from F. F. Bosworth on the ultimate agenda why CHRIST is still HEALER today.

I enjoyed reading this book. Well written and supported with lots of scriptures to demonstrate that physical HEALING is included in the atonement. The written Testimonies of people are proofs that Christ is our Healer and still heal people from all kinds of sickness and diseases. The book is inspiring and encouraging. I will definitely recommend.

Excellent book. Ideal to be read together with Andrew Murray's Divine healing and A. B. Simpson's the Gospel of Healing.
