Mavogel Cotton Sleep Eye Mask, Light Blocking with Adjustable Nose Bridge

I really like this eye mask. It blocks the light and the adjuster for the nose is a great idea. I wish more masks would adopt. The cotton material is soft, comfortable and fits great. The adjutable strap works well for me and so far its durable and the strap hasn't worn out.

This is comfortable and blocks light. I need total darkness to sleep so this works perfectly. I like that it has a flexible wire to bend around your nose. It’s light-weight, soft, and stays in place the whole night. The strap is thin which bothers my ears less than eye masks with thicker straps. It comes with a travel case which is nice.

As a light sleeper and insomniac, I have spent almost a decade using sleep masks of different brands, shapes, and sizes. Nowadays, I also have light that peeps through my beige curtains in the mornings. Being a full-time college student, with a part-time job PLUS extracurriculars, sleep is extremely important to me. There are dollar store and five below ‘one size fits all’ masks that, while convenient, offer no adjustability and often slip off your face due to the interior of the mask consisting of synthetic, ‘satin-like’ fabrics. I’ve tried more comfortable, cotton-based sleep masks with velcro adjustable, straps, that have puffiness around the lower part of the mask to decrease light, and yet, even these masks slip off of your eyes at night—over time—due to the velcro single-strap thinning and stretching out (reference to the comparative mask video in my review). I’ve also had masks that have tough fabric, but cup your eyes to prevent light seepage. These masks are also FLAWED; the fabric is extremely noticeable on your face—as someone with sensory issues, I hate the way they rub my nose & top of ears. The Mavogel sleep mask, on the other hand?? Is absolutely STUNNING🤩. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a mask this much before 🫶🏻😤. The COMPACT POUCH included with the mask allows for TRAVEL USE—to sleepovers, on a plane carry-on or suitcase for airplane naps ✈️, or even just to hang near your bed at night and keep the mask dust-free—which I love🤍! The slim, double strap with ADJUSTABLE CLASP is perfect compared to Velcro, which loses its grip over time; the strap also super soft (compared to all the three masks I’ve been alternating between the past several years! The carbon steel piece in the nose coverage allows for anyone—including me and my big Czech nose—to comfortably fit into this mask while having a perfect, snug, no-light-seeping sleep experience. I've tried many sleep masks over the years, but they all seem to have their shortcomings—bands that are too tight or too loose, sharp edges, light leaks, poor sizing, and so on. While they’re usually better than nothing, none have ever been truly perfect. This one, however, comes closer to perfection than any other I’ve tried. I purchased the black version. The mask is incredibly soft and comfortable around the eyes. The band is well-designed, hitting just the right spot with an ideal level of adjustability. Most importantly, it effectively blocks out all light. That said, I described it as “closer to perfection” for a reason: the nasal light-blocking area. To completely block light from below, the mask has to sit in just the right position. On my face, that placement slightly pinches my nasal passages, which can be a bit uncomfortable. While it doesn’t eliminate all light from beneath, it blocks out most of it—far more than almost any other mask I’ve used. To be fair, this is a challenging area for any design, given the variety of nose shapes and placements. Even with this minor issue, the mask performs better than anything else on the market and is by far the best I’ve used. The included carry case is a thoughtful addition, though I find it a bit small for the mask. Still, as a freebie, it’s a nice extra and could easily be repurposed for other small items like earbuds. Overall, I highly recommend this mask—it’s as close to perfect as they come.

Good enough 🤷 it blocks out a decent bit of light and sure the nose thingy is nice but if you move around at all this thing is gonna be slipping and sliding all around. That's a sign it's super comfy, but also, not really worth having that nose thing. It's *definitely* not blackout level, especially if you're like me and it slides around (yes, I tightened it) but it does the job. My one major gripe is that on the box it says "don't submerge" but it's like, how do I wash it then? It's gonna be on my oily face every night, I have to wash it regularly. I haven't washed it yet bc I don't want to damage it!

It's soft on my eyes, easily adjustable, comfortable, and it blocks the light. Just what I wanted!

Soft and well fitting sleep mask. Good quality materials and workmanship. Bought 2 different colors. Both same fine quality. REALLY blocks the light! Fits snug but not too tight. Hope it lasts!

C'est le seul masque que j'ai trouvé qui coupe vraiment toute la lumière. Ceux avec une tige en métal sur le nez protègent pas bien alors que lui reste doux et 100% protecteur. Seul bémol, il glisse dans mes cheveux et fais une trace sur le visage car il faut bien le serrer du coup

It is well covered the light while it does not pressing my nose or forehead too much. Very comfy, not too thin, well made.

perfecte pasvorm en zeer zacht op het gezicht. Sluit al het licht buiten en is nauwelijks voelbaar. Goed!
